Front Desk in the Morning are Super Nice

Mar 12th, 2020

Shout out to Jessica and Frankie for Outstanding service! Jessica you went above and beyond to make our stay in New Orleans for Mardi Gras as good as it could be. Both Jessica and Frankie had a smile on their face and a pleasant attitude. Also Lynell thanks for taking such great care of our cars , you rock! You also had a great attitude. Honestly, if it had not been for these three people I might have had a different experience, but every time I came in contact with them they were so friendly and helpful, so truly thank you. They gave 5 STAR service! This hotel has a modern (read sparse) feel about it, and it is not for everyone. BUT, my corner 2 Queen suite was very clean and comfortable and roomy. The location was great and easy to get to. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Birthday visit

Mar 11th, 2020

We stayed here during my birthday March 8-10 2020.. it was nicely lit on the inside, pretty trendy with nice workers inside. My issue was the room was updated but still old if that made sense.. room was cute and all, but wall was peeling.. and the carpet looked old . Other than that it’s a good hotel for a good price in an overall good area. I’d stay again if on a budget .. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Front Desk Member Rude

Mar 5th, 2020

I’m in town to celebrate a birthday. I arrived at the hotel a few hours (around 1:30ish) before checking. I was greeted in a VERY nonchalant borderline rude manner by Frankie. She immediately greeted me with we only have rooms available without windows. I said I will wait I would like a room with windows. I then commented and said how can you have rooms without windows? Frankie then responded in a condescending tone “ma’am that’s how the building is made!” So then I asked approximately what time will the rooms be ready? Frankie, then responded and said check in is at 4:00. She did not offer to hold our bags, preregister or inform us of any of the hotel amenities we could use while waiting. At this pint the concierge came over and collected our bags, pointed out the restrooms and gave some suggestions for us to kill time. Meanwhile, Frankie had walked completely away from the desk and didn’t even verify our registration or ask for my name. She was rude and acted as if it was a bother for us to be here. Three hours later we returned to the hotel and we were greeted by competent friendly staff. The room is nice and clean with a window view of the Superdome. Although my initial contact with hotel a specific staff member was less than pleasing the other staff members were GREAT! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
