Amazing stay in the glorious Teton's.

Apr 30th, 2020

From the moment you drive up, you know you're in for a special unforgettable stay. My wife and I splurged for two nights in early December in our trip to Jackson, WY. Beautiful room, fantastic food both at the lodge and the Granary next door. The peace and serenity of the entire experience made us wanting to stay longer. Not far from downtown, and a good base for some hiking we were able to do almost every day. Definitely will be back on our next visit to WY. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just an amazing hotel in a beautiful location

Feb 3rd, 2020

Luxurious, top class hotel with first class service and standards. You cannot beat the views from the hotel and room, even in white out conditions you will be amazed, on a clear day just soak it all in. The restaurant is very good, service excellent and with a number of real fires blazing away the ambience is brilliant. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Aman Experience

Dec 31st, 2019

It was the best last minute decision for our family holiday in Amangani. The resort up on a hill had a lovely view of the snow covered valley below. The scene was magnificent like out of a storybook. The rooms were so cozy with the fireplace, the bathroom was so spacious and inviting with the bathtub overlooking the landscape. The different areas of the resort were designed for complete rest and relaxation, for just having a book, have drink and enjoying the view. Another great Aman experience! Am looking forward to the next. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Luxurious Butte-top Resort

Dec 12th, 2019

Stayed four nights recently in the Gros Ventre suite at this Jackson Hole resort property. Situated at the top of a butte with amazing views of the Grand Tetons, this resort has all the expected attributes of the luxurious Aman brand – friendly, welcoming service, stunning architectural design, and comfortable, high class furnishings. Our suite had great west-facing views of the valley and mountains, and featured a spacious balcony which we couldn’t enjoy that much given the below-freezing winter conditions. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the living room / fireplace corner was warm and inviting. The bathroom was spacious, and conveniently designed with large his/hers open closets directly adjacent to his/hers sinks, bathtub, shower, and toilet stall. Mountain views from the bathtub were especially memorable. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Amangani Grill, and were somewhat under-whelmed, relative to other Aman properties we’ve visited. Menu selections were fairly limited, and did not vary during our stay. Overall, though, the Amangani is a great 5 star choice for non-skiers, given its relative distance to Teton Village, and proximity to Jackson town, and the Elk Refuge. Will definitely consider for future visits to Jackson Hole. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A Hotel Snob's Disappointing Experience: Not up to Aman standards

Nov 24th, 2019

I love Aman resorts! In fact, staying at Aman resorts ruined my hotel experiences all over the world. Nothing can stand up to them. Sadly, this view does not apply to Amangani. I met two other people here for a business trip. I set it up and bragged about how amazing Aman Resorts are. This was their first experience at an Aman property. They were not impressed. First, the views from the property are amazing! I loved the views. However, the property itself is worn down and tired. You do not feel like you are staying in a resort that matches the prices you are paying. Second, the service was lacking, in a major way. A huge part of what you pay for at Aman properties is the amazing service experience. We asked for an extra pillow at the front desk only to have it never arrive. Another time we ordered a bottle of wine and it never came. We arranged for a Amangani car transfer to the airport, only to be told a few minutes before leaving that they took someone else so a cab would be picking us up, this after I confirmed the car service earlier in the day. To be fair, once I complained they arranged for an employee to drive us. I would recommend staying somewhere else in JH until the property gets a good remodel and the staff is properly trained. There simply is no special feel that sets this resort apart from others. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
