So so but beware

I wanted to give a 2.5 rating but couldn’t get trip advisor let me do a 1/2 rating. The motel is not all bad. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was large, and the staff was really friendly. However there was mold on the shower curtain. I asked that it be changed for a clean one. I was told it would be. It didn’t happen. Every towel they gave me had either nasty stains or looked just plain dirty. They advertised hairdryers in the room so didn’t bring one. I had to ask for a hair dryer which they had trouble finding and the two rooms on my booking had to share which meant going out of the hallway to make sure the other room had a dryer. They advertised a microwave and alarm clock radio in the room. Neither were there and the alarm ap on my phone wasn’t working properly. I would have asked for a wakeup call but the phone in my room didn’t work. Neither did the fan in the bathroom. Every time I asked the staff to fix/change something I was told they had to let management take care of it. Management either wasn’t listening or wasn’t being told of the issues. Also there is continental breakfast but if you are on a carb restriction this will not work for you. There is only waffles, Quaker quick oatmeal, muffins bread or toast. Next time I’ll spend a little more on a place to stay TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Make sure you ask for a hair dryer

Looks good during the daytime. We were greeted by a nice clerk. Room looked nice. We had trouble getting card to work on gates parking lot, at first. We went to have dinner and realized that there was a reason for a gated security lot. The neighborhood isn’t safe after dark. A security officer was walking the perimeter (with some difficulty), I hoped he would be confronted by anyone, because he might get hurt. A couple was standing around the door into the hotel from the parking lot...they were propping open the door, which is strange when that door is part of a locked parking lot. We went to our room and slept alright, but there were numerous people going in and out of their rooms all hours of the night. The next morning I realized that there was no hair dryer. It was on the list of amenities (refrigerator, microwave, tv...). I mentioned it to the clerk and he laughed and said I should have asked for one at check in. Maybe the clerk should have offered one at check in. I shouldn’t have to ask for something listed as being available in the room. Breakfast was limited to juice/coffee and toast/English muffin TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Arrived after 27 hours due to delay. No airport shuttle available so $20 taxi ride needed. Room dirty and noisy. No milk at 0700 for breakfast and none could be got. No forks - so no breakfast. Polystyrene cup of warm coffee only. Spoke to 'Boss' on the phone next morning - either drunk or asleep, but had no interest whatsoever. Shuttle next morning took half an hour - pity they couldn't have stopped for milk along the way! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Noisy, no airport shuttle, wifi didn't work

I had a horrible experience here for one night before my flight. I requested an airport shuttle when booking and it was my main reason for booking this hotel. They failed to inform me shuttles only run from 7am-9pm. I should have had no trouble getting a ride back to the hotel after my return flight since I landed at 7:30pm. I even called before my flight to ask what I needed to do and they said to call when I landed. I called, waited 20 minutes, then spent 10 minutes repeatedly calling because reception wouldn't pick up the phone. When she did answer, I was informed the shuttle driver was off and had been for the last two days. I was in a room with an adjoining door and could hear the tv of the guests next to me all night. I requested to switch rooms as soon as I arrived and was told it wasn't possible. I got very little sleep and the tv was still blaring at 4am when I woke up. Wifi never worked during my stay. I requested a call from a manager the was never received. I will not stay here again, lesson learned. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Better than expected.

I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of this hotel. It looks like there has been a fairly recent renovation and they did a good job. The room was a typical room with a large bathroom, fridge, quiet A/C, and flat screen TV. The bed was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was really basic (typical waffles, toast, cereal, bananas, coffee, juice, muffins and danishes). Plenty of free, fenced in parking in a well lit parking lot on a major road. Front desk staff were friendly enough, but not outstanding in any way. No business services (computers, printer), so you'll need to find services externally if you need them. i'd stay here again.
