Giving Disney Resorts a run for their money!

May 21st, 2019

What a surprise to arrive at midnight and be treated to a brand new renovated family suite. Beautifully completed and instantly comfortable, the Camelot group did a wonderful job. Renovations are completed to a level of finishing you would find at the Grand. Plush carpeting is a plus and a rarity in today’s hotel market. Our son, who is autistic, instantly gravitated to the ceiling high head boards and made himself right at home. Our birthday bash is off to a great start thanks to this wonderful (and affordable) room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, large rooms, beds not great

May 17th, 2019

We stayed here for 10 days at the end of April/beginning of May. The exterior is charming. The front desk staff were fine, not overtly friendly, but they got us checked in quickly. We opted for a family suite. It was huge. We had more than enough room for four people. Plenty of storage. The kitchenette and table were awesome! Hands down the best way to stay! We enjoyed our stay here, overall. The room was always very clean when we came back and it was mostly very quiet. We stayed during construction so it was surprisingly how little it actually affected us. When we did see construction staff they were super polite. The concierge was awesome. Because of construction we had to have our car parked and retrieved each time we left. They did a great job and even offered tips for getting around faster! The pool is tiny (but heated). There no getting around that. But it was empty a lot so we never had to worry about crowds when we were swimming. It’s 3-feet all the way across. Getting to the park was super easy! Less than 7 minutes to get to security at DL. We watched fireworks from our balcony at least three times. A few drawbacks The rooms and elevators were super dated. I know they are remodeling them all so I’m sure that’ll help a lot. The ice machine didn’t work on our floor at all the entire time we were there. The bathroom light was a nightmare. Literally. Creepy murder hotel lighting. I hope the remodel will take care of that. The biggest deterrent for me was the beds. They were so uncomfortable. Way too firm. I’m not anti firm mattress but these were crazy! The bedding was cozy and warm though, and the pillows were fine. Overall I say go. The hotel is clean and close to the parks and some dining. I’d love to head back once they’re done with the remodel :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Family Suite

Apr 17th, 2019

5 adults stayed in the family suite. Staff was courteous and friendly and the location can’t be beat! The suite was a great option for us but we could have used another bathroom - or at least a half bath! Hotel is a bit tired and the pool needs some major sprucing up. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great for Large Families

Mar 27th, 2019

The lobby of this hotel is very nice, and the valet greets you when you arrive. We booked the family suite and it was HUGE! It's true that the room could be updated a bit, but there was a pullout sofa sleeper and King bed in the first room along with a dining table and kitchenette, and there were two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom along with the bathroom. The sheer amount of space was such a wonderful thing, especially with a 16-month old in our midst. It also allowed for all of our suitcases to have a place to go without us tripping all over each other. The hotel was walking distance to the park and there was a laundry facility and scooter/stroller rental place on site. There is also a sundry store open from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. The affordability for the space and location cannot be beat, but if they do upgrade the rooms it will be absolutely perfect! Well- Located

Feb 23rd, 2019

This hotel is well-located. We were easily able to walk back and forth from Disneyland without a problem. It is also located close to Panera and McDonalds if you want to eat before or after you enter the park. There is a little gift shop on-site. The hotel itself was good. Simple and clean. We had the King Suite (see photos) for 2 couples. It worked ok. The only thing that this hotel could improve upon is its customer service. A couple of the employees were reluctant to be helpful. But it was still overall perfectly adequate. I have enclosed pics to show our room and the view from our door. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
