We love staying here when we're go to Disneyland. The atmosphere is nice. They have a weight room and pool. It's walking distance from the park and the staff is nice. We always enjoy our stay. We recommend it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place for kids

Apr 5th, 2019

Second time staying here when going to Disneyland. Great kids suites with bunk beds and divided room. Large bath with double sink areas. Lots of tv channels, free WiFi, free parking and 10 minute walk to Disneyland. Live it!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Found large broken glass in kids bed

Apr 3rd, 2019

My daughter found a large piece of broken glass in her bed. I took the glass to the front desk and showed it to an older woman with short hair. I asked her to have the room serviced and to have housekeeping strip the beds and look for more glass. She said “gee, I don’t know how that could have gotten there.” The clerks tone was suspicious and accusatory as if I planted the glass in the bed. I didn’t ask for any discount whatsoever, I just asked for fresh linens. When I returned that night, no one had come to clean our room, not even to give us fresh towels. I stayed at this hotel because my kids liked the bunk beds but This hotel needs a major renovation. There are nicer, newer, cleaner and closer hotels to stay at then this. Walking past countless homeless drug addicts laying on the street is unsafe and nasty. I’m coming back to Disneyland on May 1st and I will not be returning to portifino. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A good place to stay close to Disneyland and kid friendly

Mar 16th, 2019

We usually stay here when we do our Disneyalnd trips. The kids love that they have their own room. Bunk beds and a pull out sleeper couch help for big families. The rooms are seperated by glass sliding doors. Yes this is an older hotel and a little dated, but the cleanliness and service make up for it. I would rather have a clean room and good swervice verses a state of the art room that is dirty. You are at Disneyland so not much time spent in the room anyway. It is a 12 minute walk to Disney. No continental breakfast but good parking with the parking garage finally built. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pictures on website make this place look much better then it actually is. Room was clean and a great size but getting older and showing some wear. No safe in the room and cheap furniture. Walls are paper thin. We could hear conversations of adjacent rooms. The absolute worst part of the stay was the room above us. Kids were running and jumping for 2-3 hours straight each night, loud enough to wake us and sometimes until 1-2am. We called the front desk 5 nights in a row re this and nothing was done. We also have kids, we get it, however they were running and jumping loud enough to wake us up and nothing was done. Even a room change could have been offered. Other items stood out as troublesome as well; locked door to secondary building broken for 3 days, lots of homeless in the area and building was not secure, heated pool was freezing, hot tub frequently had food (pizza and pizza box, chicken wings) and litter in it, front desk staff gave my husband a key to our room without checking any ID or even confirming it was our room, two hours after check out was billed $700 on my credit card in error, issue was corrected without even an apology or explanation. Housekeeping staff were great, very friendly and rooms very clean. Front desk staff not so friendly, at check out didn’t even ask how stay was or acknowledge we had such a difficult time with noise from guests above us. After a long day at Disney the last thing you want is to be kept awake every single night by someone else’s kids running wild. They clearly knew there was an issue and didn’t offer to move us or deal with the issue. Overall a disappointing stay for us, particularly the thin walls and the front desk staff. With so many choices in this area they need to step up their game. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
