Stay cation

Jul 21st, 2019

Hung out with the family, bathrooms could be cleaner. Kids liked the water park. Very big property. Several pools are on site too. They do movie nights and games for the kids. The main reason we stayed there was for the water park. If they didn’t have that we would’ve stayed here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Another positive experience at the Arizona Grand Resort

Jul 21st, 2019

I have given a positive review in the past, and again, I would like to share that I love this resort!! Especially would like to give a shout out to Luz at the front desk. Impeccable customer service. Lacey in reservations was super helpful and booked us the perfect room. Alicia in housekeeping did a fantastic job tidying up our room (Mountain-side rooms). Bellboy Drew was great. Super friendly. We had many different drivers taking us back and forth throughout the resort and they were all wonderful. Austin was our favorite. I exercised during my my stay, at the resorts Athletic Club...HELLA nice gym. LOTS of equipment, two floors. They offered water aerobics, yoga, cycling, and another class. I did participate in water aerobics and was a lot of fun. Thank you for a great stay. Definitely looking forward to my next!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointed & Overpriced

Jul 21st, 2019

Rooms (we had a suite) were nice but lacking in normal amenities such as a microwave and fridge (there was a fridge but it was packed with way over priced items). Arrival was awful. No valet as advertised and it was a horrible experience to find parking and find your room. Water “resort” is a stretch description. Wave pool was small, toddler area was small with a couple of bubblers and only 3 big slides. The lazy river was nice but really crowded and you waited quite a while for a tube. The whole place was overcrowded and overpriced. Food prices were outrageous everywhere and they didn’t even have a kids menu anywhere. A hot dog at the pool was $11. 🙄 There was also a serious shortage of kids water flotation devices which is concerning for a water resort. We’ve stayed at several water parks in the Wisconsin Dells and I’d rather fly back there. I cannot understand what people like about this place. I was really wanting to love it. Did not come anywhere close to expectations

Jul 20th, 2019

For the price you have to pay you’d expect a nicer resort where they don’t sell day passes which make the water park way overcrowded. Resort looks great on the website but unfortunately our experience was not anywhere close to what you’d expect from that. Crowded, low class, and hard to get to and from your rooms from your car. On the plus side, the hiking area nearby was pretty nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointed

Jul 20th, 2019

I had higher expectations. The lounge chairs are old and dirty. You have to prop them up in dirt and rocks to get shade. There was no changing area by the pool other than a dirty bathroom with no air. That is not typical for a resort. Beverages and snacks very overpriced and the surrounding area is run down.
