Nice Hotel/Resort

Jul 21st, 2019

This is a beautiful place located in Stone Mountain right on the lake. Everyone is very nice and helpful. We were here on a weekend and there were a lot of small kids. There is a nice restaurant on the property with great views. They are also doing some remodeling during the weekdays. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Visit for Golf

Jul 16th, 2019

Our family of three did enjoy our stay, but A few things could have made it better. First the rooms with two beds only have double beds. For the type of resort and cost I would expect two queen beds. I also found the food and drinks at the restaurants and the market to be overpriced. Once inside the park there are really no other options so I guess you are stuck. We had a package with unlimited golf, but you are responsible for making your own tee times. No help from the concierge regarding that. The package description also says transportation to the course, but this is not provided. Also included in the package is a food credit, which I had to basically fight for upon check out. Make sure you check your bill if you get a package and that you receive all credits which you are entitled. The room could use some updating, but was clean and beds were comfortable. We were kept up one night by some people in the hallway who seemed to be returning from some type of party. The next morning the hallway was littered with bottles and take out boxes. I didn’t encounter any safety issues but question why I didn’t see any security in the hotel or on the grounds. I did find most of the staff we encountered to be very friendly. Also the shuttle to the park was nice for the laser show. We did attempt to go out for dinner on a Sat, which was a big mistake. Coming back we had to wait in long lines to get back into the park because of the fireworks and laser show, so that is something to consider if you are going out. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Setting

Jul 13th, 2019

The staff was super nice, the property is beautiful, and the hotel was typical Marriott quality. The rooms are dated but they are about to fully upgrade the rooms. The pool are could use an upgrade too but they may be doing this also. My wife and I plan to come back and stay here again...... we loved it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stone My. Getaway

Jun 29th, 2019

Hotel is nice and clean no issues there. Outside pool tiki bar shuts down at 7:45.. Bad business decision there. Makes you wonder who made that call. The on-site restaurant is okay menu is limited. Having a five-star chef on-site you would think the menu would have a great variety to choose from. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
