We decided to come down for a family getaway since my husband’s sister lives in the Atlanta area now. We chose this hotel. We have always loved staying at the Marriott hotels. This one changed that. First of all the parking garage was $28 per day to park. That’s only if you don’t move it. If you move your vehicle you have to pull another ticket to get in and it charges another $28. Ridiculous!! After all of that drama we then find out the hotel will slow you to pay through them and it’s $25 per day and you go as much as you like. How about explaining this stuff! Next I watched the security guy out front work deals with people to park out front. I get to my room and it smelled horrible. The room had a penny and French fries on the floor. If you vacuum how are these things still on the floor. Someone was playing music loud as hell and all we could smell if we opened the door was someone smoking pot. Then there was a dog barking down the hall and when I go to check out there was a $150 charge on my bill for a dog. What the hell? I’m done with Marriott. They said security said we had a barking dog In our room! I’m done! Wow! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Got in late and wanted room service, of course Covid gives everyone a reason to take away services. Restaurants in the hotel are closed which isn’t mentioned when booking. I could order from the bar, but could not order from my room and pick it up at the bar. I had to wait at the bar. So they are not offering room service because of covid, yet they make me wait for 20 minutes in the bar with 40 other people if I wanted to get takeout. And don’t get me started on the multiple reminders about being good to the environment by re-using towels. They save a ton of $ by pushing this. I wonder how much they would encourage it if it cost them more money. Virtue signaling at it’s best. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
DO NOT STAY HERE !!

If I could give it a 0 rating I would but don’t let the 1 fool you. This property is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand. Plenty of other places to stay nearby that are cleaner, safer and less expensive. Hotel is old, tired, run down, and in bad need of a complete makeover and it smells of dead fish and cat urine. The room was ok but I didn’t feel it had really been cleaned very well. The parking fee is exorbitantly overpriced for self parking in a sketchy garage across the street. The lobby bar, although they tell you it’s open until 11 PM, it really isn’t at all because there is no one working in the bar to get you a drink. Save yourself from a bad travel experience and go elsewhere. You’ll be glad you did! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointing experience. The grounds, garage and hallways of hotel are unkept. We arrived to find dead plants in the planters, poorly maintained landscaping, trash scattered by the outdoor dining area and unvacuumed areas in the hotel. The hotel is a outdated which is understandable but more effort should be made to maintain the property and clean the common areas. Friendly staff provided the only upside to the stay. This place is an un-sanitized sh— hole. Sorry I can’t find a more eloquent way to put it. Hotel is run down, rooms are grungy. It’s currently 4:32 am and we are checking out early because there are LOUD parties going on in multiple rooms surrounding us with a lot of smoking. Very disappointing. Don’t stay here if you can help it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
