Excellent hotel, great location

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I would definitely recommend it. Very professional, friendly staff and really nice rooms. The bonus was a huge bath as well as a shower, just perfect after exploring Rome. Stunning views form both the bedroom ( 5th floor) and from the two terraces on the roof. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best view in Rome!

Sep 4th, 2020

Great experience overall - the rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds very comfy. I stayed in 2 rooms - the first was larger and quiet, with a courtyard view, then at my request got a room with a view of St Peter's, which was amazing! The best thing, and the main reason I chose this hotel, was the view from the rooftop terrace - you are perfectly positioned between St Peter's and Castel St Angelo (both a 2 minute walk away!) and you can see the whole of Rome, and all the way to the hills of the "Castelli". The only improvement I would suggest is to be able to have your breakfast at the roof terrace - currently it is served at the 6th floor restaurant, which also has a view, but eating it al fresco at the top is a different experience (if you ask nicely you might be able to get a coffee to take up to the top :)) I highly recommend the aperitivo served at the top terrace though, for €25 you get a drink and great nibbles. Post-corona dream in Rome

Aug 12th, 2020

We cannot complain about anything for the price we paid. The room was comfortable, nice new bathroom. But what I will never forget is breakfast at the roop top restaurant with incredible views over Vatican. The best way how to start a day! Unique chance to experience Rome with no tourists and for crazy low prices... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great price when early booking, but not perfect

Indeed this hotel has a great terrace with restaurant panorama view on the St Peter Basilica. But why play ordinary internet streamed jazz in a typical Italian setting? My room on the ground floor was too small for comfortable staying. There was only one simple chair but luckily a large desk. The bathroom had a good shower but the WC toilet bowl was leaking permanently. Better lightning could be welcome. Wifi was OK! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel in a good location

Aug 9th, 2020

The hotel is close to the Vatican - which means longer walks into the city, but a more peaceful setting. And it's great for visiting the Vatican. Hotel is nicely presented, and clean throughout. It is careful with Covid-19 requirements, and had helpful staff. Breakfast was quite good - I suspect choice was a little limited in the circumstances, but we ate plenty and there was a good range of options. Room on first night had a balcony (tiny) with a view of St Peter's - but the room was cramped and tired, even a little tatty. We asked to change rooms the next day and without fuss we got a lovely contemporary room with excellent airconditioning and good facilities. There was a mess-up with the transfer to the airport - it didn't arrive. I think the transfer company was probably to blame, and the hotel did try to sort it out and then ordered a taxi. Never saw the terrace on the roof (although the breakfast room was the floor below and had great views). We tried to go up one evening, but were told we had to pay 25 euro each for a drink and some finger food. Maybe we misunderstood - didn't try again. Despite this, I'd be very happy to return here.
