Friends Reunion

Jul 31st, 2020

Our stay at the Atlantis Casino was very nice. Everyone was professional and, courteous. I was very impressed with the $30 a day meal credit. Also, they have mobility scooters for rent if you need one. I thought that is very smart amenitie. Thank you, I will be back. Gayla TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Floor personnel handling COVID. Excellent job!

Jul 28th, 2020

SLOTS: Wayne and Laurie are doing a great job with the floor personnel The floor people are continually cleaning machines and chairs and are keeping the customers separated, as they should. Yesterday I observed Luzmila constantly helping customers and cleaning machines. She was doing an exceptional job! Thank you for making us feel safe in your casino! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

One of Reno’s Liveliest hotel casinos

Jul 27th, 2020

We sprang for a concierge level room, which was very nice, somewhat large, with heavenly bedding, but the rest was just a cut above average; the bathroom was on the small size with the shower tub combo reminiscent of less than luxurious hotels. The view from these upper floor rooms is nice, but there is also a window tinting that gives the building a rainbow effect from the outside, which resulted in a weird blue light in our room, which made it hard to read or see well during the day. The casino was busier than most I’ve visited in Reno, that could be a plus or a minus these days, but overall there was good attention to health safety and cleanliness, with staff constantly reminding customers to distance and wear masks etc. We found the much praised dealers a little uneven - great earlier in the evening, and the craps roll counting and leader board is a great idea and a blast, but less so later, when it turned out the leader board was only for one of the tables, and both tables were almost impossible to get back into if you left for dinner, not really the casinos fault due to limited players, but why $5 tables when there are swarms of people trying to get in the game, and no orderly system for accommodating everyone. The dealers and pit bosses were less friendly at night, overall, a so so gaming experience, maybe I’ll try again after the pandemic. If you’re just here for the hotel, recommended. Atlantis Hotel and Casino Reno - Great Staff

Jul 25th, 2020

My husband I spent the weekend at the Reno Atlantis in mid-July. We are frequent visitors, but hadn’t spent a weekend since COVID-19. The hotel is very clean and we saw a number of cleaning staff working on the gaming floor. Special thanks to Wayne Archer in High Rollers and the awesome bartenders and staff who went out of there way to make sure we had a great time. Thanks Atlantis!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst hospitality in Reno.

Jul 25th, 2020

Worst comp system in town, would not recommend being tracked if playing above $25 a hand. Hosts are useless, rooms are dirty, the food on property was good at Cafe Alfresco but the steakhouse was overrated. Just a shame when you can't go to a casino and play big ($500 avg) and expect to have 2 meals a day comped. Maybe raise the pay for the employees and they might do their job better. Called host at GSR and got 3 nights and $300 food comp. By far best casino in town, director of marketing at Atlantis was a joke. Again I support higher pay if thats what it takes for them to their job. Go to GSR, more to do on property, cleaner rooms and less smokey and most importantly you get treated better. Peppermill ok too, too much cleaning but better than the Atlantis as well. 😃 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
