Warm, friendly place to stay

We were originally booked at Hotel Epik but due to Covid they moved us to Hotel Bonaparte. Well appointed room, very comfortable king bed and memory foam pills. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is right behind the Basilica and it was great to hear the bells ring. The hotel was quiet but there was people out on the street late at night, so just bring ear plugs. Great view from the 5th floor. The Covid breakfast was delivered to our room, it was ok given the situation. Great location in the old city, one block from Rue Saint Paul West. The front staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Hidden Gem Hotel in Old Montreal

Amazing hotel in the heart of old Montreal. Next to theatres and great restaurants. Hotel room are beautiful and clean. Their own restaurant is fantastic and romantic. Their breakfasts are amazing as well. Well worth the visit and we liked it so much we will come back again for sure once COVID-19 is over and will but hotel certificate for our kids to see. You won’t be disappointed. We had a romantic room on the street side and it was only a bit noisy that night due to a wedding event and some people talking out loud in the Echoing streets. They have garden side of a beautiful church they is apparently much quieter and we will check that out next. What a beautiful hotel!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Two weeks ago my wife Pat and I stayed at Hotel Bonaparte for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is just lovely and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Throughout the weekend the reception staff answered all our questions and provided helpful suggestions which really enhanced our stay. Special mention to Jason and Amy who could not have been more helpful and pleasant, as well as the gentleman Saturday morning (can't remember his name) who gave us maps of the city and took the time to point out various places of interest for our walk around the city as well as some excellent restaurant recommendations. The Hotel rooms are attractive and perfectly clean. Our room, facing the courtyard, was very quiet with a lovely view of the Notre Dame Basilica. The Hotel Restaurant is excellent; a lovely breakfast each morning (included in the room rate) and a lovely dinner one evening. The restaurant wait staff is excellent and very friendly. Located in the heart of Old Montreal, the Hotel Bonaparte is the perfect place to stay for a lovely visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If you love old world charm and a unique property then Hotel Bonaparte is for you. Stayed for 2 nights on a recent business trip and it was one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed at. Charming, warm, inviting and totally exceeded my expectations. Great rooms with all the details, the bed was awesome, shower was super and the included breakfast topped it all off. Very well managed as every staff member went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Totally worth it and I'll be back for sure, TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed at the Bonaparte for 4 nights. The room was extremely quiet and very comfortable. The employees were extremely helpful and helped us get around Montreal. We had an early morning flight leaving Montreal and the staff made sure we had transportation and brought coffee to the taxi as we were departing. This is an outstanding small hotel.
