Romantic winter stay in a fantastic hotel!

Feb 21st, 2020

My girlfriend and I had to attend a wedding in Montréal during the 2nd week of February 2020. We decided to spend 1 week in Old Montréal and I stumbled upon the Auberge du Vieux-Port whilst researching options. It was exactly what we wanted - a romantic and whimsical blend of old and new, perfectly placed in the middle of living history! From arrival until our 2AM departure, the customer service from all staff encountered was phenomenal throughout! Tom, especially, was fantastic and very helpful in every regard - many thanks, Tom! Room 502 was our River Front Premier Room with a king bed, electric fireplace, spa shower, deep soaking tub and a magnificent elevated view across the Old Port river front (through windows that can open!). The exposed brick contrasting with the modern touches perfected the ambience! The hotel has room service from the Taverne Gasper pub connected through the lobby. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Try the Breakfast Poutine for a hearty and yummy start to the day! There is valet parking for a fee, but the area is surrounded by walkable attractions, bars, restaurants and shops. Otherwise, ride sharing and public transport are great options. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Auberge du Vieux-Port and highly recommend the hotel! We shall be back to try another season! Thanks for making our stay a memorable one! SUPER!!!

Feb 18th, 2020

My husband and I took a quick trip to Montreal to celebrate our 35 anniversary and stayed again at this wonderful hotel! We stayed here three years ago to celebrate an anniversary as well and loved it so much, we decided to return. We arrived to a sparkly clean, warm, comfy room. A chilled bottle of Prosecco, along with a nice card greeted us. We love everything about this hotel, from the friendly, helpful staff to the restaurant that is attached. The food and service is outstanding! We are seasoned travelers and know the difference between good and excellent hotels. Trust me on this one-EXCELLENT! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This Hotel Is the BEST!

We are always so impressed by the service and friendliness of the staff at the Auberge du Vieux-Port. Paul greeted us both times we’ve stayed there and he is so pleasant and welcoming. All of the staff wish you a good morning or good evening whenever they see you. We had an issue with our toilet that was fixed immediately. The bedding and linens are of excellent quality and the room, hotel and amenities are kept immaculate. We would highly recommend the Auberge to family and friends. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel in Old Montreal - close to fabulous art galleries, restaurants and sights. No need to leave old Montreal, it’s all here - and this is a great hotel to base yourself out of - friendly and very helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay, beautiful room

Feb 3rd, 2020

Traveling for business, the staff was very helpful, called ahead of my arrival to check if I needed anything, much appreciated. The room I had was beautiful, stone wall, furnitures, everything felt authentic yet modern, very tastefully furnished. I will definitely book again at the Auberge whether for business or leisure.
