Luxury hotel, nested in an ancient monastery building - an unforgettable experience in Prague

Mar 3rd, 2020

If you are a discerning traveler with an eye for history and culture, look no further - Hotel Augustine is your lodging choice in Prague. Location is perfect: Minutes from a nearest tram stop (public transportation in Prague is the way to go); 10 minutes to Charles Bridge; walking distance to the Old a Town. Hotel highlights: impeccable service - from the reception to concierge and service. Dining: a relaxing breakfast experience with traditional Czech dishes, warm welcome from a restaurant team and free flow of sparkling wine. Bar: a must-try St.Thomas beer, which is brewed in-house and only served at the hotel. Architecture: a breath-taking view on the old monastery, walls that stood through centuries, chill in the summer garden. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic few days at this lovely hotel

Mar 2nd, 2020

Just back from 4 days in Prague staying at The Augustine Hotel. Hotel is situated in a great location for exploring the city and approximately 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Hotel itself was excellent on all levels. The rooms and decor were well appointed and our room was very spacious. We had breakfast each morning at the hotel, and it was a sumptuous meal with a large choice of meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals and fruit. As well as a large selection, the food was also fresh and good quality. There was even a huge piece of fresh honeycomb, that was messy to serve but worth the effort! We had drinks at the Refectory Bar on a couple of evenings and this is a very tranquil room, that is ideal for relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing. All the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous although we didn't really use any of the hotel facilities. All in all a great hotel, that ticks every box for a perfect stay in Prague. As good as it gets.

Spent three nights there during January and the place was just terrific. Service was the best and so was the feel of the hotel Quiet and classy I would call it. The bar was great for me cause I love a wine after walking the city every day. Restaurant food was great and good pricing. All in all the best hotel I have stayed in for any number of years. Staff were exceptional! Well done to the team and the manager. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Christmas stay at the Augustine

Feb 23rd, 2020

This historical building, once a monastery, is in a perfect location for the ones that love to explore a city like Prague on foot. During my stay I booked a suite supposedly with a castle view but you could only see a tiny part of the castle ( disappointing). The room was spacious and with a lot of furniture for clothes and luggage. I ha d the opportunity to have lunch and dinner at the restaurant and I was not disappointed. Also the burgers are delicious. In my opinion the service could have been more professional in certain situations but was generally good. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
