Our Second Stay Here!
Sep 19th, 2020
This was our second stay at Avenue of the Arts. We will definitely be back! Beautiful hotel! So comfortable, QUIET and such incredible customer service. Breakfast from the restaurant was A+ as well!! We’ve stayed at several places in the area as our daughter lives here and we won’t stay anywhere else now. The experience here is truly unmatched. What a beautiful hotel with the most friendly staff. Thank you for such a terrific experience! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great stay over Labor Day weekend

What a wonderful hotel...I had a room on the 6th (highest floor) overlooking the lake. It was peaceful and relaxing. Incredibly quiet (I never heard noise from the other rooms and only once did I hear a door close from out in the hallway). The a/c performed admirably during record heat, and I appreciated having a balcony door to get fresh air, especially during COVID times. Extremely clean, well designed and appointed room. The hotel itself is well situated. It's only several blocks to South Coast Plaza and almost directly behind Segerstrom Performing Arts Center. There's a paved walkway around the lake (which has ducks) and the hotel is a block from the Noguchi Sculpture Garden. Many interesting eateries in the area. Re COVID:The front desk attendant told me that they wait 24 hours before reletting rooms. Only one party at a time in elevators, and masks required in public areas. Service was excellent. In particular, Evan in Reservations, who really knew detailed information about the hotel, provided personalized service. For a moment, it made me feel as though it was pre-COVID times. If you’re looking for a boutique experience at a bargain price then the Avenue of the Arts is a great choice. This hidden gem in the Marriott Bonvoy collection is a step above your other standard Marriott experiences in the area. Management and staff are excellent. As a Marriott Ambassador member, I would highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Excellent Hotel. LOVED staying here!
Aug 14th, 2020
I stayed here in July 2020 for my birthday weekend during covid. I've also stayed here in July/August 2018 and loved both of my stays. Excellent staff. I remember seeing an employee from my previous stay and he was always friendly/professional. I forgot the gentleman's name who helped me, but he gave outstanding service! All staff here is great. Rooms: Modern, clean, hardwood floors with great views. I love looking at the lake from my room. Walking around the lake and area is very peaceful, romantic, and relaxing. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I am still impressed with this hotel. I frequent hotel stays for business and this one has really sticks out to me. The room was tastefully decorated with an extremely comfortable bed, great water pressure. Everything was so clean. The service was great. There's a restaurant next door and food was delicious, worth every penny if you need convincing. On the back side of the hotel there's a beautiful water feature. I don't have business plans to go back to this area but I will make the effort to go back on vacation days just to stay at this hotel again. Location is great. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
