The best place to visit!

Near from the railway station, this hotel is perfect to visit the entire French Riviera! Rooms are pretty clean and I appreciated how helpful and nice the staff is! Warm atmosphere, I’ll come back for my next trip! 😸😸 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, staff could use a customer service training

We stayed at the hotel in July 2019 for 2 nights. We let the staff know way ahead that we are coming quite early before check-in time and we dropped our luggage at the lobby because early check-in wasn't an option (which was totally understandable, it was the peak of the season). We came back to the hotel at the check-in time and we were informed that our room will not be ready for another 1 hour. After all it was ready just about 1,5 hours later. The hotel was obviously understaffed which shouldn't have happened. The receptionist promised to contact the manager to check if they could compensate us in any way for this inconvenience but that obviously never happened. Also just "we are sorry" would work. Also don't be fooled by the suggestion that if you don't use the daily cleaning service, you get some kind of a small treat. It is just an excuse for being understaffed. The room itself was clean, the hotel location was also very convenient, right next to the railway station. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely hotel and great value!

We stayed one night in this lovely little hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room, although was a little small was clean and was uniquely furnished, rather than being generic like so many other hotels. The breakfast (included in our price) was self-serve. The staff kept a supply of cereals, croissants, bread and pain au chocolate topped up with fresh fruit juices and a machine for freshly ground coffee for drinks. You can even boil your own eggs... nice touch! We enjoyed our staff at the hotel, and would definitely stay there again, it offered great value for money for anyone visiting Nice. Basic but good value

We stayed here for 1 night, and thought the hotel looked very alternative and modern on arrival. The only downside was that the room was tiny and seemed more suitable for one person than two. We were supposed to stay here for two nights but ended our stay early due to having a terrible nights sleep. Free breakfast was good, variety of pastries/bread/yoghurt/fruit and drinks to choose from. Loved the feel/look of the hotel but didn’t enjoy the stay in the small room/bed. Would recommend if you are travelling and want a cheap hotel with everything you need! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pleasant stay in an average 3* hotel in Nice

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband. The hotel is in a decent location, a very short stroll (4 minutes?) from the train station- which is really handy for trips to Cannes (definitely recommend) and Monte-Carlo (not so exciting!) It's also around 5-6 minutes to the tram which in 3 stops will have you in the heart of the old town/sea front. It is a bit of walk to the old town/seafront (20-25 minutes) and there's not much in the way of restaurants / bars nearby. Check in was easy, staff friendly and polite and we were delighted our room was ready (around 12ish). A few niggles -the aircon wasn't on for about 24 hours after we arrived. The first night we slept with the balcony doors open, the noise was horrendous so I had a pretty bad nights sleep. When we reported it to reception the next day the lady said the aircon was off and seemed to then turn it on - so I do wonder why wasn't it switched on when we checked in. Another day we returned to the hotel around 5.30pm for a rest and freshen up before going out for dinner to find our room hadn't been cleaned and our rest was continually disturbed by cleaners banging room doors/vaccuming etc - a bit frustrating! Last niggle was one day although our dirty towels were taken away we weren't left with any clean ones, meaning a trip to reception - where they gave us one new towel and acted surprised we didn't have them; rather than apologetic. However, we still had a pleasant stay - the bed was comfy, extra pillows were in the wardrobe and the mini fridge was also very welcome. I don't think I'd stay here again, but the price was very reasonable and the location was good so you could get a much worse deal. PS: The lift is TINY and takes a while to arrive; consider a lower floor room if you're less mobile. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
