Very disappointing

Jun 16th, 2019

I’ll start by saying that we reserved three rooms at the B resort. One of the rooms on the second floor overlooking the pool area was fine. However, the other two rooms/suites were in the tower section on the 7th and 8th floors, and they were very inadequate. The main issue was the smell and the temperature. The AC ran all of the time and was very loud, and the moisture in the room was very bad. There was a strong musty smell, which was covered up by very intense, cheap perfume scented sprays or something. The fan in the bathroom made a loud sound. And the room was filthy. Lots of rust and dirt. It needed a deep cleaning. The suites had a living area, and then a bedroom area, and the doors connecting the rooms were broken and hard to us. And there was a service elevator right next to the bedroom that ran up and down all night and was very loud. We also had no luck reaching the front desk or housekeeping any time we called from our room. It just rang and rang. The terrible smells were the worst part and why we will not be returning to this place ever again. On a positive note, the Pick Up coffee shop and the America Restaurant were very nice and the people working there were great! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Father’s Day & Birthday

Jun 15th, 2019

Beautiful room & enchanting lobby! We did not valet the car but the valet guys were so responsive with assisting where they could—including bellhopping. This trip was an early Father’s Day and birthday gift to my dad, who hadn’t flown since the late 80’s to early 90’s. He absolutely loved the hotel, as much as I did. I do have to say that the shower floor is on the slippery side, so sensitive groups should request a chair for the shower. During our stay I had ordered the continental breakfast, every day. The breakfast was the only thing I had an issue with, when I was receiving different arrangements of the meal each day. However, Louis was very accommodating and quick to resolve the issue. The croissants are sooooo good, by the way! The staff is super friendly! Working in a hotel myself, I was impressed by how charming everyone was and how great their shuttle service to the parks are! good place but avoid the pool bar and snack bar

Jun 13th, 2019

The room was nice but not too roomy. The pool bar was slow with service. The snack bar inside was horribly overpriced...$3.59 for a bowl of dry cheerios!!! I would stay here again but would do other options for food. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Simple, but Elegant

Jun 11th, 2019

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I had never heard of the chain before, but the rooms were exceptionally spacious and clean. And it's right on Hotel Row! What more can you ask for. Close to Disney Springs. A true delight and I will definitely stay with them again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Hotel, Good Location

Jun 11th, 2019

I stayed 9 nights on the B Resort and the experience was mostly positive and would stay on it again, but it did have some issues. I did stay on a chic room (cheaper room) with a view to the Parking Lot (was expected). I got a second floor room and there was an exit to the front of the hotel near. The good: 1. 10 minute walk to Disney Spring to the left or the Crossroads (with a supermarket and more cheaper options to eat) to the right. But in the heat of summer, the walk seems longer. 2. Beds are very comfortable. 3. The transportation to the Disney Parks was very good and mostly on time. I did not wait more than 30 minute once. and the first bus in the morning was always on time. 4. Service staff was good and helpful. 5. No problem with noise levels. The Bad: 1. The restaurant and the snack shop are way overpriced. 2. I had read some reviews about how strong is their cleaning chemicals smell is and it was true. It was very strong on the first couple of nights. I guess I got use to it by the end. 3. Even though the service staff was good, in one occasion I went to ask a question on the front desk and they tried to book me to a time share meeting. I give it 4 stars because I got a good deal on it, even when you take into consideration the ridiculous resort fee. If I had payed over 120 a night for this hotel then the score would be lower. I would stay again on it if I get a similar deal, specially if I came back on fall or winter. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
