Enjoyable 10 night stay

We stayed here in October last year with our two daughters (7 and 3 years old) and had a great holiday. While there it truth in some of the comments that seem to come up a bit in the reviews these are relatively minor and did not significantly affect how much we enjoyed our stay. Yes the restaurant can be busy but we always Managed to get a table without a wait and the food was constantly replenished with plenty of choice. The main pool is not heated and can feel a little chilly when you first go in but you acclimatise quickly and it’s fine. It certainly never stopped our kids! The rooms are not the most modern but are clean and comfortable. The daytime entertainment was good and both our kids loved the kids club, the entertainers and the mini disco! The evening entertainment was very good when the professional shows were on. Not so good when it was the entertainment team but they do well and try to get people involved. All staff were very nice and friendly. This was our first time in Lanzarote and we loved it. We would be happy to return the this hotel again in future. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I had a 14 day stay booked and paid for, but due to the Covid19 outbreak the Hotel had to close. Thank you Barcelo group a full refund has been received, still my group of choice. Excellent customer service TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Rooms are nice but Restaurant terrible not enough staff ,always running out of food at breakfast a and staff friendly nd dinner you need to get in early to try get a seat would not recommend this hotel.and too far out from main area . TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Having stayed here many times before we know what to expect at this hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful , the rooms are cleaned every day with towels changed if required . The downside on this visit was the restaurant , it is very much understaffed and this is not fair on the few that are on shift , they are overworked and visibly stressed when they can’t keep up with the demands , every morning people were waiting for clean cups and tables to be cleared , I even witnessed a family taking there own mugs into the restaurant ! Once your lucky enough to get a clean cup it’s then a 10 min wait in the queue for a coffee, 7 machines only two or three working and they are painfully slow. Daytime entertainment is ok although there isn’t as much on as in previous visits which makes the day a bit long and boring , however the animation team are a great bunch and friendly.On our last day the hotel were advising guests to stay in due to Coronavirus , all the shops and bars were on lockdown . Hopefully this won’t last too long and the hotel is up and running again . TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Staff were very helpful the hotel was clean the facilities were what you would expect the room after a move was very good. The food was of a good standard for a large 4 Star hotel, the room safe was charged for which was not what we have come to expect. The swimming pool was very clean but the water was very cold even the heated one was not warm enough. The hotel location was not ideal as a 40 minute walk into the town although there was a free bus service but that could be more regular. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
