We had the most amazing anniversary weekend at the Omni Barton Creek. The hotel was beautiful and the staff everywhere was above and beyond accommodating. Extremely clean! The pool was very relaxing and loved the refreshments served. Bobs chophouse was phenomenal!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

25th Anniversary getaway

Jul 23rd, 2020

With COVID-19 going on our Jamaica trip did not happen. So, we decided to get away for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. We visited the Omni Barton Creek resort and hotel for some relaxation. The hotel was newly renovated and very clean. The employees did a great job with the new guidelines to keep everyone safe. The pool was very nice. They had 2 pools, one for families and one was adult only. The food at the restaurants were good and reasonably priced for a resort. Our dinner at Bob’s Steak and Chop house was nice, my only complaint which is going to sound weird is that we felt rushed. We could have used some more time to enjoy the meal. We enjoyed our time at the resort and would recommend it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

2020 Mini Vacation

Jul 11th, 2020

We were there like 3 years ago before the remodeling. Today is a lot better, with 7 restaurants/bars, And all have terraces to see the views. Infinity Pool for adults, more for kids, and adults, jacuzzi, etc. Was kind o lonely of course, but with all the CDC precautions. Next days were more few people but niece. We loved and thinking to go next year again..! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Covid Escape

Jul 9th, 2020

My husband and I live in Austin and decided to check out the new Omni Barton Creek for a long weekend "getaway" during Covid. We had a balcony room, which had ample room, a lovely view and gave us the opportunity to keep the balcony open to keep air flowing which we took advantage of. For those wondering, the balcony rooms are all in the older tower of the resort overlooking the pool. We didn't see the newer tower rooms but I was happy with the room we chose. I noticed others mention the cleanliness of the rooms and I did notice that our room could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly, but overall it felt clean. We have been on the cautious side during the pandemic and I thought the hotel did a very nice job trying to encourage safe measures during this time. There were definitely some people who did not seem to care and would get a little close in the shared areas such as the pool, but in general people were courteous and spaced out so all could safely enjoy and relax. All employees wore masks at all times and we wore our masks whenever inside around others and many other guests seemed to do the same. The great part about the resort is that there are many options for being outdoors should you be nervous about being indoors. Almost all of the restaurants and bars have outdoor seating. The restaurants themselves were very good - especially the service and food at Bob's and Blind Salamander. The only con being I wish Blind Salamander had the option to sit outdoors, at least during brunch. The spa was wonderful. I felt very safe and enjoyed the amenities after a fantastic facial, especially lounging at the spa pool while my husband was golfing. In general we had a wonderful, relaxing getaway at Barton Creek and would happily return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good..but

Jul 7th, 2020

We visited the resort for 4 nights over the July 4th weekend. Traveling during COV-19 was a bit uncomfortable but, the resort seemed to be making best efforts to keep their guest safe. The resort is beautiful. We stayed in a room with a private balcony. I’m not sure if there are normally patio seating but, there was not any seating during our stay. The King mattress in Room 737 needs to be replaced. It did not sleep well due to the sinking in the center. The cleaning from the housekeeping was suspect one day of the visit. We did express our concerns and the front desk immediately sent someone to clean the room again. The food at the restaurants were okay. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating.
