Personalized hospitality to the 100th degree

Jan 22nd, 2020

My husband and i just returned from a 5 day/4 night stay at The Beach House for my 40th Birthday (left the kids at home) and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we checked in there was someone with a smile and such friendliness. It felt like we were family.. The rooms were so clean and the fridge was stocked (they even left me a bottle of wine with a hand written note for my birthday). The resort is located right on Grace Bay and the water is so blue. It was extremely windy while we were there, but that is nothing people can control. When the weather was not the best on day, we decided to walk down Grace Bay Beach and stop and look at the resorts and hotels. Some of the larger (and more well known hotels looked nice), but the food/drinks were so expensive that the extra money that we spent to stay "All Inclusive" was easily covered at The Beach House. We looked at every hotel and each one we saw we kept saying "Thank god we chose the Beach House" We started out each morning with an amazing smoothie/acai bowl from the smoothie shack. The Healthy Elvis tastes like a Peanut Butter Cup! The rooms have no numbers, just names. Every room has beach loungers all set up for them on the beach so no need to "save chairs". At 11am every morning someone came by with a drink to start your day on the beach (always with a smile). The lunch options were great. Our favorite part of the resort was their current partnership with "Veuve Clicquot" where you can drink champagne and have some incredible caviar every night from 6:30-8:30. It was wonderful to drink champagne waiting for dinner by the firepit. The restaurant at the hotel was also great (although it would have been great to have the menu rotate more (just please do not take away the potato soup shots). We went to Alexandria and Blue Haven and both those hotels were great (and a nice option to change food options), but nothing felt as quaint as The Beach House. Some of the staff that we want to call out (because they were that incredible) are: Dio- that man is EVERYWHERE and always with a smile. He is such a sweet soul Angie/Deja/Lakee/- they took such great care of us at the champagne bar everyday. such sweet girls! Lucia- set up a few surprises for my actual birthday, left more wine in our room and made sure to find me and give me a hug. Randolph was funny and made some great drinks. He set up a jet ski excursion for us when we started asking him what some of the best ways to see the islands. He told us to "trust him" and I am so happy we did Carlton and Josnel- we amazing every night for dinner. Great conversation and smiles and just made us feel so relaxed. It was a dream come true and I feel so lucky to have stayed at the resort with all these amazing people! We cannot wait to return!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

LOVE!!!

Jan 22nd, 2020

Everything about the Beach House is amazing! There’s a sense of comfort and relaxation (like your at home) the second you get to the hotel. I went about 8 years ago with my family for my birthday and fell in love with the place. The people are so friendly and down to earth (Roger being my favorite). The beach is so beautiful 😍 not to mention how incredible the food and entertainment is! The Beach House is a must when staying in Turks & Caicos. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to relax. Recommendations : Try the conch (any form) and the chocolate plank it’s amazing!! **Seafood lovers try the lobster extravaganza TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We'll Be Back!!

Jan 20th, 2020

We cannot say enough good things about this Resort! The comfortable, roomy (Suites), amenities, STAFF- Shout out to Dio who is everywhere, and to,Jose', Office Gals- Lakenya & Lucia- girls, you are well informed, professional, honest, thank you!! Restaurant- Shanda S., .Bar Tend-Sly, Security- Yulon, Housekeeping- Lorraine. I am sure there are more, and you're superb. Location,Location, Location, OH MY!! We typically travel at a very comfortable level of resort. Time is precious, we enjoy comfort, and so we choose to have these areas of our life align very nicely. That is just where WE decide to put our desires/priorities, as everyone is different, so please do not hear me incorrectly. WE WILL RETURN. The beach chairs on the beach are "saved" according to your room. There's no need to race down & save chairs in the unlikely event that one will not be available- GENIUS!! Pool chairs, always were plenty. Food was very nice, drink choices were wonderful, caviar, champagne- Veuve Clicquot's Yellow Label Brut-superb. Room Service provided, we had breakfast on our large terrace most mornings, as many amenities available as I previously listed for Our Resort. The featured other two resorts- Blue Haven & Alexandra, are available for you to visit, eat at play at, etc. no cost to US, however it is a bit different if staying at the other two resorts if people came to our resort, I believe (cost wise). Transportation-complimentary, is provided daily-scheduled trips. Walk the beach for miles, as we did several mornings. Completely safe, however, I would not recommend traveling by beach after dark, which is my own opinion, I just would not do it. Bicycles are available, which were ridden often, comfortably, to shopping centers, grocery-if need be, etc. Kayaks, Hobie sailboats, SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding), Yoga, aqua fitness, Indoor work-out facility, horseshoes, snorkeling, pingpong, and so much more are available, no additional charge as of this posting. We went to Paradise Scooters and took a 4-hour tour of the entire island. Henley was our guide. LOVE HENLEY, what an informed, professional, so caring too. Lunch was included at Da Conch Shack.Totally recommend doing this. Even in some rain, it was fabulous!! Other amenities were available for a charge: horseback ride, ATV, parasail, tours by boat, fish, parasail, spa treatments, golfing, windsurf and more. Thursday nights at Bite Park, is a fish fry. This is a large, friendly, comfortable party, very popular to say the least. This runs roughly 530p-830- or later with food Vendors- conch and more, island art/craft vendors, music, dancing- A Must Do while there. Airport transportation to your resort was widely available and safe of course!! Cost was roughly $23/couple. We traveled by choice in January. Temps were averaging 80 degrees, windy. Beach is #1 rated in the World for many years in a row and with good reason. Clean, beautiful turquoise waters, great snorkeling as we took our own gear and had a great time. We visited Blue Haven and Alexandra resorts, as well as Club Med, Seven Stars, and viewed Beaches (on the beach, and many others)... we were quite happy with our choice, and heard from others who visited our property with the same happy thoughts of Beach House. I am a Travel Agent, and Hotel property Rep from years ago, I do know what I am experiencing from a professional stand point. Keep up the Great job. One point I'd like to make, as a Certified 500 hour level employed Yoga Trainer... To Devon- to have Yoga at 430P in the afternoon doesn't work well. People are not available after long days in the sun or having rum drinks. I know transportation was difficult and understandably, but morning Yoga is typically what people desire... trying to help! Intimate and Private

Jan 19th, 2020

Just returned Jan 17 after 8 days. Had a great time. Small and intimate. Beautifully appointed. Great beach. Rooms have names, not numbers. Rooms are suites with bedroom, living room and kitchen. Beach chaise reserved for room. Staff was wonderful, very attentive and eager to please. Special shoutout to Anderson Raphael who made our dining experience more enjoyable. Also to Guest Services Jose and General Manager Vianel. Only downside was the dining menu. Virtually same food every night. Highly recommend if food is not your thing. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Went from "Best Tropical Vacation Ever" last January to SORRY I CAME BACK this January.

Jan 18th, 2020

Stayed at Blue Haven but tripadvisor requested I comment on our activities at Beach House. First the positive: I would like to point out the only 2 employees we encountered with exemplary customer service: Lucia and Anderson. However the majority of the resort employees were grumpy especially the wait staff in restaurants. Ate several times at small Beach House cafe for lunch. Same waitress each day was unfriendly/grumpy to the point of being rude. Water sport attendant on our first or second day at the Beach House beach was rude to the point of being punitive because we did not have a reservation for beach chairs, even though that day (it was raining) there were only about a dozen in use by non-Beach House clients. We had tried at Blue Haven but all were booked??? Shuttle was disastrous this year. We always got to the shuttle 15 minutes early, yet we often had to wait for a 2nd shuttle, both in the morning as well as coming back from dinner. In fact, one night at the Beach House we had to wait for the 2nd shuttle (another 15 minutes), then driver picked up people at Alexandra and dropped them off at the Seven Seas restaurant while we waited to be taken to Blue Haven. Another time we were in a hurry to get to Beach House. While we were waiting on shuttle, driver stopped at guard house of Alexandra and picked up 4 women who wanted to be taken to another location (not 1 of 3 resorts). Definitely need more shuttles at the designated times. I did not care for having to wait most times for shuttle to return. Also, if the rule is no stops outside resort, then it should be followed or give ALL the chance to be taken to other locations. Ate at all the restaurants and liked Beach House dinner the best. Last year had great food at all 3 resorts in all restaurants; this year not so much.We loved walking from Beach House to snorkel at Bight Reef. Then another day walked to Smith Reef from Beach House for some additional snorkeling. Lots of fish at both. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
