Great stay

Oct 13th, 2019

We enjoyed it stay here and felt very safe and secure. We loved that it was only about 10 minutes from Graceland. The gates parking was a plus. The room was spacious and everything worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was overall clean but felt as though it could do with a deep cleaning to ensure all the books and crannies were attended to. The free breakfast was fine although the dining area was a bit cramped. Overall or stay was good and positive and none of these money issues would keep us from staying here again. nice place to stay

Oct 2nd, 2019

The wife and I began our trip by staying in Memphis for a couple of days. We did Beale Street walking tour and went to the Civil Rights Museum-The Lorraine Hotel. The property was a little older, but well taken care of. The rooms were a nice size and beds very comfortable. Te breakfast was really good and the staff did not rush you through as thet do in some hotels. The attendant made sure there was plenty for all guest. It was fairly easy to get back and forth to the main highways and fast food was also close by. Almost every convenience store has food, so you may find a hidden treasure like we did. We wanted to get away from the normal tourist over priced food and found a store with steam table and lots of home cooked food. Fresh greens, mac and lots of cheese, fried chicken, baked chicken, pork chops and much more. The food was so good we went back the next day. The price was very reasonable also. The bridge walkway at night is very good also. Lots to do when you visit Music City TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A SPACIOUS Clean room

Sep 22nd, 2019

I was very pleased with this Quality Inn. It was clean, spacious with a small convenient table and chairs in it. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was so good. They had not just muffins and danish, but eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, coffee, and sausage gravy and biscuits. I am sure there was more there, but wow, it was great. Convenient and close to Graceland and close to a few restaurants or fast foods. We stayed 2 nights and if I come back this way; we will stay here again as you get a great nice spacious clean room, a great breakfast....big value for the amount you pay!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

!st floor room request

Aug 23rd, 2019

I'm hoping I don't receive the standard form letter response from manager of this hotel as seems to be the normal procedure. I made my reservation for Elvis week, 811-8/17/19 back in Feb. 2019 and requested first floor room as hotel has no elevator and people travelling with me have heart problems and back problems. Each time I talked with hotel throughout year, I mentioned the first floor room request. The last time I talked with hotel desk clerk, I was told to call on Sunday morning, 8/11/19 on day of check in, which I did, and tell them I needed first floor room and request would be taken care of. When I checked in I had been assigned a second floor room. I realize that you aren't guaranteed a first floor room but I would think as long as I had my request in, that I would have been granted a room on first floor. Not sure what you have to do to get a first floor room as it did seem some had been promised rooms on first floor. When I questioned the second floor room, the front desk clerk called her manager and manager told her to tell me that money could be refunded, which credit card had already been charged before I checked in, and I could check the Comfort Inn up the street as they had an elevator. The hotel at least needs a ramp for carrying luggage to second floor as very difficult hauling luggage up stairs. We had to wait until after 5:00 PM to check in as room had not been cleaned. That being said , the hotel has nice size rooms and in a great location for being close to Graceland and access to highway to downtown Memphis. I like the fact that the hotel is gated and you need key to enter and leave. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Family vac.

Aug 19th, 2019

This looked nice in the pics. & it was close to Graceland where we go every Aug. for Elvis week. We've been staying in Horn Lake, but I decided we'd stay closer to Graceland. The hotel needs to be updated & remodeled. It was quiet, not alot of choices for breakfast. Staff was nice. I was leary about the other guest since it was 3 girls & my one daughter is special needs. We were going to go swimming, but I seen one guy who kept watching us bring out things in, so I didn't feel safe. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
