Very Poorly Managed

Aug 3rd, 2020

Upon arrival to the hotel with my wife and 7 year old daughter were the only ones in the lobby to be checked in. It took 30 minutes to finally reach our room (we did a lot of waiting). We were told that there was no housekeeping at the moment and would need to contact the front desk if we needed anything because they were having a high turn over rate. Also we were hit with a surprise $12 parking fee in order to park there. When we got into the room there was NO towels, soap, shampoo and just 1 roll of toilet paper. My wife called the front desk and was told that she needed to come downstairs to get all these things. Some of the walls in the corners of the bed had a small layer of dust as if they never dust the rooms at all. One of the headboards on the beds had some dirty staining that I thought was maybe damaged but when I grabbed a napkin with some water I was able to wipe it right off. The rooms are not very sound proof at all as you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways along with people just closing their doors. At night time when we were going to bed I kept hearing some cracking noise. When I decided to find out what it was I discovered that there was about a 3ft crack of water coming thru the roof and the noise was water hitting the carpet. It was 3am in the morning and I did not want to call the front desk because I knew they would just move us and I did not want to have to move all of our stuff to another room. at 3:30am me and my wife could not sleep so we decided to just leave! when I started to go downstairs in the hallway there was 6-8 large bags of garbage just sitting on the side of the wall with no one in site. Almost as if people were just throwing there trash in one pile. When I went downstairs to check out I told the front desk lady her roof was leaking she offered to change rooms but I declined and I just wanted to leave! I would never recommend someone go to this hotel.... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not worth the inflated price.

The staff was mostly friendly. We stayed 2 nights and had bugs in our pizza on the first night. Microwave was noisy, fridge didn't work (they replaced with another noisy & dirty unit). We stayed Sat-Mon and both mornings the maintenance guy was banging in the unit next door at or before 8am! I paid $75+ tax for Saturday and $125+ tax for Sunday ($263 total) which seems backwards but was told the previous week included a reopening discount. The price doesn't reflect the amenities bc the beach was closed, the pool, gym, room service, lounge restaurant, and buffet breakfast were closed/unavailable due to COVID-19 but my price definitely doesn't reflect all of these deductions! Nice hotel - nice price

Mar 24th, 2020

My husband and I traveled to Miami 2 days before our cruise. We booked a day trip to Key West so we didn't feel the need to book a hotel closer to downtown. We arrived late on a Friday night. Our flight was delayed so we arrived too late to take the shuttle. The Lyft ride wasn't too expensive due to the hotel being so close the airport. Hotel was clean. We were up early the next day and felt comfortable walking up the road to where we had to meet the bus to Key West. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Since we were heading to the cruise port and didn't need to be there until 1 p.m. the hotel held onto our luggage so we could go grab a bite to eat. The staff was friendly and I would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Location and Hotel Vibe

Mar 18th, 2020

I recently stayed at this BW Premier and had a pleasant visit overall. If you're touring the area for a few days or just planning to depart the next morning, this is a nice option! It's located where you can quickly access all of your interest and then unwind at a serene property and neighborhood. I also would like to recognize Monica (Breakfast Staff) for her kindness, professionalism and patience; thank you! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
