4th time at Bienville House

Apr 17th, 2019

We are repeat customers at Bienville House because we love the friendly staff, comfy room and the location of the hotel in the French Quarter. Decatur Street is close to all the activities in the French Quarter and walking distance is easy; or use a pedicab as we did. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel, wonderful stay here

Apr 17th, 2019

My friend and I had booked a Superior Double Double Balcony room and it was beautiful. We had a long narrow balcony outside our 2 patio doors with flowers spread out along it. It was stunning. We could see the New Orleans Fire Department right across the street and a couple of restaurants. Our bathroom was nicely appointed but a little more cramped than I thought it would be. We had a little frig in our room and a Keurig which was nice, plus 2 little complimentary bottles of water in our room every day. I liked that they had a sitting desk with a mirror and a full length mirror on the bathroom door, so we each had room to get ready. The beds were a little too soft for me. We only went to the breakfast setup once and it was decent. Had some scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage plus lots of breads and pastries, some juice and coffee. Every staff member that we encountered was very nice and helpful. We had a drink our first night at the hotel's attached tiki bar/restaurant which was small but neat. We ate next door at Café Envie one morning if you want a simple quick breakfast after the 10am cutoff of free breakfast at hotel. We also ate at Evangeline across the street that had great food for lunch and dinner. There is also a Visitor Information center right next door if you wanted to look into tours or whatnot. You could easily take a 10 minute walk to Jackson Square (this was where we picked up our Hop on Hop off bus) Overall, I would definitely come back here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

French Quarter Fest Find

Apr 16th, 2019

We stayed for the first time here and will return again and again! Wonderful location, with friendly staff and very comfortable bed and bedding. Only negatives were the included breakfast ( mediocre at best) and the air conditioning which we had trouble modulating. Big Plus was the fact that we could not arrive for the first scheduled day of our reservation due to our flight out of Denver being cancelled due to poor weather, and after calling to explain the hotel did not charge us for our first day. Location great wonderful boutique hotel. Great staff Love the pillows and the bedding. You can hear the train but it didn't bother us close to restaurants and activity of the French quarter. Felt safe TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Mixed on this one

Let’s start room. Incredible size, comfort of bed, cleanliness, bathroom all superb. Reception needs a make over although it’s a busy place. Pool not really a water hole for birds to drink from and leaves to collect not nice. Location perfect. Parking across the road perfect. The lady who checked us in was so polite and friendly couldn’t of been more help. Male member behind desk, Sunday 7th April so rude, so un-professional, he didn’t serve me but my god he shouldn’t hold a job there he’s not good for the company. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
