Had a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the mountain view, literally could touch it. No sun hit the balcony, which in a way was nice and cool as it was 38C outside. Room was spacious with a free to use safe, large bathroom and lovely air con. Friends had the seaview with hot tub room and the views were amazing The hotel was very clean, staff were lovely. Beach towel man seemed to disappear every time we went for towels. The beach was accessed via a lift and was clean, bar staff were friendly. The beach itself was a bit of sand and the sea had large rocks in so take beach/swim shoes with you TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We spent a week here is August. First of all I do not know what people are complaining about. Yes it is a bit of a distance from the airport but surely that is something we all check before booking somewhere to stay?! So complaints about the distance are ridiculous. If you do want to venture out, there is a bus that stops right outside the hotel and you can purchase your bus tickets at the shop for €1 and it is only about a 10 minute bus ride into the town. Also a beach about 7km away that is pure sand and lovely, so try it out if you want a change from the beach by the resort. The hotel beach is also lovely! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at certain times however the pool bar is lovely and serves a variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. You can also book for certain restaurants which you have to reserve from the from the reception area of the hotel and get there early to avoid a long wait to book. All restaurants were great. It is a smaller resort to others I have visited, but it is lovely and very clean. There is also daily water aerobics which are great to join in with. You can almost always find a sunbed. The only downfall for us is the main pool is saltwater however the pool by the kids club is chlorine and our daughter and many other kids enjoyed that pool - as well as some aduts! The games room is great as well as a bar on one of the floors - cant remember what floor - but we spent each night there (with a lovely view) and had a great laugh with other families while the kids all played nicely together. Entertainment at night is ok, kids disco was a big hit but we left after that to go to the bar. We would recommend this hotel TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I visited in September with my sister for a relaxing week away from real life. And that's exactly what we had. The room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful Mirabello Bay. Whatever you do pay the tiny supplement for a sea view otherwise you will have no view. All staff were great. Always a smile & a hello. We enjoyed the food in all the restaurants. Drinks were good quality and service at the bars excellent. Hotel entertainment is not really our thing, so can't comment much, other than the Greek Night which was very professional as well as good fun. The animation team were friendly, but not pushy & worked really hard. We were booked through Thomas Cook when the company collapsed and the hotel (despite knowing they would be out of pocket) allowed us to continue our holiday as if nothing had happened. I thank them for their hospitality & professionalism as I heard horror stories of other hoteliers demanding money from guests and holding them captive until they did! Its really easy to get in to Agios Nikolaos which is worth doing. I recommend the rather steep climb to Chez Georges for a cocktail overlooking the bottomless lake. The cocktails are fabulous and the view is to die for. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. Thank You Blue Marine for a fantastic holiday. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We rested in October. Due to the good location of the hotel, the sea was quite warm and calm. Cozy family run hotel. Friendly staff. Timely room cleaning, always fresh towels. The child liked the animation. For adults, a large selection of dishes in restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
