Great Location but Hotel Okay

Aug 13th, 2019

Great location in the middle of Celebration, FL. Hotel is not a mega-hotel but still relatively large. This is my second stay here and rooms are pretty basic. I did like the Floridian theming on walls of Egrets and other things Florida as well as the old pictures in the hallway and rooms. This is my second stay here and no upgrades for Platinum Elite. Parking is difficult as the hotel itself really has no parking lot, you have to deal with parking on street. Not a bad experience but my second time was not much different than my first. Repeated issues and lack of warning

Aug 9th, 2019

So you sit at work for weeks planning what you hope will be a nearly perfect location in an area you enjoy vacationing. You bypass staying in Disney’s resorts and select a Hotel in a quiet location with one of you favorite and unique Pools. Sounds like it’s going to be a great week. Not So Much. I spoke with the hotel desk and with Kesler booking department while on our way to a Celebration to add an additional night to our trip... during that time and when booking originally No Mention was made about a the Hotel Renovation nor The Pool being CLOSED for 80% of our time there. We had our days planned only to be told on our 2nd morning that the pool was going to be Closed and we would need to leave the pool area. So we reorganized our adventures and even added an additional night as we were told the pool would reopen on a Friday. Then on our last day we packed so to be able to utilize the pool that final morning. I call early to verify it’s opening at 9:00, we get everything ready to go only to be told as we head to the pool that it now will not be opened until midday!!! You just can’t make this stuff up! Earlier in the week the Manager had assisted us by allowing us to utilize a portion of the rear lake patio for some relaxation and we greatly appreciate that. But at NO point we’re we told in advance nor did any of the Hotels on-line website mention the renovations nor the closed pool. Renovation crews traveled thruout the hotel including the restaurant & bar the entire week and used the elevator just outside our door which was a bit of a noise distraction. We realize work and improvements need be done but to not notify your clients in advance seems a bit deceptive. Really disappointed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome, unique hotel

Aug 7th, 2019

This hotel is very unique with its appearance and set up. It is a beautiful area among mansions, overlooking a little pond that is adjacent to other ponds with walking paths around all of them. The rooms could use some updating but overall very nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Little hotel that offers a lot.

This is not the typical mega resort you expect around Disney and what a pleasure. It loves to call itself a boutique hotel which term is overused but it is appropriate here. Drive up area for entrance is very small but valet is right there to help with bags and parking, very friendly and efficient. Some of the décor makes you think of a southern plantation and it is very nice. Lobby area houses both check in desks (2) with agents and you sit one on one with them (sort of felt like I was at my bankers desk) but its very private and quick. There is also lobby dining and a horseshow type bar, lots of dark wood and brass. We got a king room with sitting area which I would recommend. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your time in the room instead of 1 person getting a chair and the rest sit on the bed. Large TV, good size bath and towels/amenities. Big windows for natural light and view of the pond. Hotel is steps away from everything you need, shopping, coffee houses, pizza, Mexican dining and 2 of the beat eateries in Celebration. The Celebration Pub gives you everything from a hotdog to prime rib with a huge bar and large screen tv's. Does get a bit noisy especially around the bar but it is a pub and you won't be disappointed. The other is the Columbia House which is more upscale, more expensive but very good. The hotel does have a restaurant area and a good selection but with so many dining options steps away its tough to compete. This hotel will not disappoint especially if your a couple with a special occasion, not that families won't enjoy it because it is next to Disney but it doesn't have all the "kid" type bells and whistles. Great Place to Stay

Aug 4th, 2019

The hotel is located on beautiful site next to a small body of water and several good places to eat within walking distance. One night we ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the Grilled Skirt steak. Amazing flavor. Friday and Saturday night there were live jazz musicians (guitar and trumpet). Creates a wonderful ambience to the place.
