Best Day EVER!

Apr 21st, 2020

I arrived and did a site inspection of Breathless and absolutely fell in love with this resort. I totally felt like we missed out by not staying here. So Hugo (the sales manager) was kind enough to invite us to come back the next day as guests and my friend and I were ecstatic. We had the best time. The location of this resort is perfect with a swim-able beach. The resort was very clean and so much fun. And then of course the staff. It always comes down to the people. From the moment we arrived everyone was very friendly. A big thank you to Guillermo....he was one of the first to approach us with his great big smile. So super charming. Definitely made us feel super special. And again....Gracias Hugo. I can't wait to come back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing view, beautiful place! Julio Cesar (bar manager) and Vianey were amazing employees!

Apr 8th, 2020

Dan and I went here for our baby moon and to celebrate his birthday. Julio Cesar, the bar manager is so welcoming and very kind. He surprised us with a gift & card to our baby Joshua in our room closer to end of our stay, we were melted by it, thank you! I couldn't drink alcohol so Vianey made me yummy fresh smoothies whenever I wanted! Overall, the staff, design of the resort, views & food was perfect! my husband also had a lot of fun playing volleyball with the staff there! We had a blast! I recommend this place to anyone! Great fun watching the marina

Apr 5th, 2020

We stayed 3 nights at Breathless Cabo San Lucas. The arrival area is in a dark alley, and is not impressive. Valet parking is mandatory. But once you check in, and take the elevator upstairs, everything is nice and bright. We were in room 1511, which was a room closest to the elevator. It made it easy to run down for (premium) drinks at the 24 hour (!) lobby bar. And the coffee cafe was also open 24 hours down there. The room had a king bed, TV, A/C, 2 chairs and a small couch, eye level electronic safe, 1 cup exprsso coffee maker, 2 robes, iron and ironing board, and a small fridge filled with Corona beer, soda, water, and cream for coffee. There were lots of plugs in the room for charging things. The bathroom had frosted glass doors for both the toilet and the shower. Not the best for privacy. The shower was huge, with only a rain shower head. The balcony overlooked the marina, and had two wide chairs and a table. There is only a pedestrian walkway between the hotel and the marina. We used the quiet pool almost exclusively. I did go (outside) to the other building to check out the party pool. It lived up to its' name. At the party pool, about 4 staff members approached one couple, and after a minute of conversation, they sprayed the couple with a couple of bottles of champagne! Not sure what the occasion was, but I've never seen that done before. We mostly ate at Bites restaurant, because the food was good, and it was close. My girlfriend has trouble walking, so we only did the hike to the other restaurants once. We would order room service for breakfast. Watching all the goings on at the marina was fascinating. We could see it from our balcony and the quiet pool. And seeing the occasional sea lion just made it that much better. Never felt the need to pay for Xhale privileges, as it seemed you only got use of the Xhale lounge for the price. And with premium liquor at the lobby bar, there didn't seem to be any need to go to the lounge. We would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

People were great, lots to activities

Mar 26th, 2020

. The weather was grey the first couple days which forced us to look at the activities provided by the hotel. To our surprise we were able do daily workouts with Andrea including a 2 hour hike up overseeing all of Cabo. A cooking class and private dinner with executive Chef Ciro, not to mention daily entertainment and humour from Memo at the pool. Overall a great experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ok place but feels like it's stuck in another decade

Mar 26th, 2020

Hotel is split in two blocks. Generally room was ok, so too was fitness centre. Second building is a great location overlooking the beautiful beach. No real complaint. However, the non-stop "doof doof" music everywhere you went was unnerving - was like back to the early 2000s. In this age of non-stop 'busy busy-ness', getting a moment of peace and silence is at a premium. At Breathless, you cannot escape the loud mind numbing music. In the morning you get up go into the corridor "doof doof" music in corridor, go to breakfast which beautifully overlooks the ocean - a lovely time for peace and quiet" - no chance!! You'll have more Doof Doof music at full blast. Go to the beach to escape the noise... no chance, more doof doof through speakers. Understand at night or for events, that music may be welcomed by guests, but no-one I met there was impressed by this. Just gave me a headache the whole time I was there.... and I like music btw, am a musician! Restaurants were a little underwhelming . All looked nice and the service was good, but the food was generally bland. Pictures of gorgeous, decadent 20 and 30 somethings in swimsuits adorn the place - like it is stuck in a different era where all that matters is drinking as much as you can and partying hard. The whole place felt geared that way. I was disappointed in the vibe of the place - it felt very outdated culturally. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
