Basic hotel in good location

Jul 16th, 2019

Bryce View Lodge is your basic hotel that's perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower. It could use some remodeling as the hotel has a very old feel to it. However, the AC worked and we slept soundly although it can get loud in the morning. The rooms could use more pillows since they only provide some square ones to sleep on for each person. Breakfast was alright, there weren't too many options but I was able to make do with bread, cereal, and yogurt. It was fine for one night in Bryce Canyon! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Adequate Bryce hotel

Jul 15th, 2019

Chose Bryce view lodge as wanted to stay in Bryce at cheapest price. Would definitely recommend first time bryce visitors go elsewhere and stay at bryce canyon lodge inside park for sunset/sunrise 5 minutes walk from room. But done that twice over years and this time chose Bryce view lodge for convenience to rubys facilities at a budget price. Our prime reason for visit was the 4 day annual astronomy festival, and we were 50 feet from last shuttle bus stop to the star gazing field. Had to wait a little as lots of people queuing, but on reflection was well organised as they got over a hundred in from that stop in under 15 minutes. The event dates are not out for future years, but last 5 it has matched the closing weekend of the grand canyon stargazing festival which is publicised years ahead. Room was definitely basic budget motel, but no complaints - it delivered what you would expect for a low cost room - functional and clean, parking outside room. If budget is your main driver then this is a reasonable choice. Free breakfast in ebenezeers was disappointing. Ended up with toast, jam and juice only. Did grab milk and cereal before realising milk was frozen solid and usable only as a brick. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Double Billed

Jul 6th, 2019

Stayed at the hotel in May paying in advance by credit card. In July, I was charged again on the credit card used at check in case of incidentals for that stay. Besides being charged again, I was charged at a higher rate than I even paid for. Contacted hotel to try and rectify. Was told that my reservation was canceled but not by me. At check in, they had my reservation. Currently disputing charges through the credit card company. Check your credit card statement carefully. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Location, location, location

It is located next to Best Western Plus and across from Best Western Ruby, but less expensive. So it is 5 min drive to the Bryce Canon gate. Room is clean and adequate of motel quality. If all you need is a clean room close to the park and don't mind cold continental breakfast, this lodge is more than enough. Inside Bryon City, the only restaurants are the buffet restaurant in Ruby Inn and a fast food place next to it, all within a goal kick distance from the lodge TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Standard motel at a high rate

Jun 29th, 2019

Like any standard aged motel, but at a much higher rate simply due to the proximity to the national park. Indoor pool is located at another hotel, about a half kilometer away, on the other side of the road. Outdoor pool is even longer away. Breakfast is included, comprising bagels, juice, cereals, and some sweets. And a poor excuse called coffee (see photo) - hey guys, you’re not supposed to see through a cup of coffee, and definitely not being able to distinguish it visually from tea...! At least now we know why the coffee cups are black... I don’t think it’s necessary to point out that the taste of the “coffee” was hideous... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
