Awesome resort

Mar 18th, 2020

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Calabash Cove. I would recommend splurging on the all inclusive package. The food there was the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive resort. All meals are served at the one restaurant but can also be enjoyed in room and many people eat lunch at the pool bar area which has tables. The beach is beautiful and quiet and sparkly blue! Paddle boards and kayaks are included and available to use at your leisure. The pool was always nice and warm (but still cool enough) and the pool lounges are incredibly comfortable. Cabanas are available and free of charge! This is a quiet resort yet you are likely to make friends. We had an amazing time. I would also highly recommend a massage! I got a swedish massage and my husband had a deep tissue we both said they were the best massages we’ve ever had! Also special shout out to the fun and outgoing bartenders Lance and Chris aka Mr. Fabulous. Thanks for keeping cold drinks in our hands and smiles on our faces: TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Romantic Hotel

Mar 6th, 2020

This is small hotel with many positives, service is great, the views are spectacular, lovely small private beach and the rooms are very well maintained and comfortable. My cottage was excellent, everything you needed was provided with a private pool and stunning views. Breakfast was very good , so was room service and lunch. I did not have dinner as I was out at night . I will say be prepared for a somewhat bumpy ride to the hotel as the road isn't well paved and if you stay in a cottage there will be LOTS of steps, there is no way to avoid it . This is the perfect hotel if you plan on spending lots of time enjoying the facilities, very well suited for a romantic getaway and couples. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

fabulous dining experience

Jan 14th, 2020

This review is for the restaurant. We booked Christmas dinner here and it was truly amazing, from the gorgeous setting with the beautiful view, to the delicious food. We enjoyed the experience so much that we booked dinner for New Year's Eve here as well, and were not disappointed. We were thrilled with another wonderful meal. A very very talented singer provided background music and this added to the fantastic overall experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our ideal Caribbean vacation spot

Jan 9th, 2020

With our children and grandchildren visiting other family members this year, my wife and I decided to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays by ourselves in a tropical place far from the winter cold at home in Connecticut. Calabash Cove proved to be an ideal resort for us. Set on a hillside at the end of an unpaved road and overlooking a small but never crowded beach, Calabash Cove seemed remote, but we were only about 10 minutes by taxi from Rodney Bay to the north and from Castries to the south Our junior suite was comfortable and spacious, with a whirlpool bath for two, but its best feature was the incomparable view from the porch of St. Lucia's coastline and the Caribbean Sea. On New Year's Eve, that view included a fireworks display that compared favorably with any American Fourth of July. The food at the restaurant was consistently excellent. But we were most impressed by the quality of the staff at Calabash Cove. Everyone, from the knowledgeable and helpful concierges to the waiters and waitresses and the security people at the beach, was genuinely gracious, helpful and friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
