Our favorite hotel in NOLA!

Mar 16th, 2020

There are fancier hotels in New Orleans, but none more comfortable or accommodating. Love the simple, industrial decor. A short walk to Cochon and Butcher restaurants. Eddie at the front desk was awesome and helped work through a problem with our reservation. This is the only place we will stay in NOLA from now on! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Romantic and chic, our go to staycation destination!

Mar 15th, 2020

My husband and I are local to New Orleans, we love going here for our date night. The location is perfect for all the things we are interested in doing. Bars and and restaurants in a 5 block radius. We can do a lot in one night! This is our second time back in 3 months. The first time we came for our anniversary and we told them that. They upgraded our room and brought us champagne to our room! We were able to chromecast our playlist to the TV while we were getting ready. All the rooms have an adorable chaise lounge, concrete ceiling and a preppy skull pattern on the curtains and shower curtain. Barn doors on the bathroom, and really unique smelling soaps. Very cute and intimate and hip. We were checked in by Louis who was super helpful and helped us get our reward points and chatted with us about cocktails. We have seen Will a few times and he is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about how we are doing and if he can help us. I feel like this is a very competent team. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Everyone I interacted with was super nice and accommodating. Great walkable location to everything. The room was spotless and the beds comfortable. The decor - I loved it! Bar food wasn’t the best but tolerable. When I visit again this will be my first choice! Loved Cambria New Orleans. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, Clean & Comfortable Rooms, Barely Adequate Service

Mar 11th, 2020

This hotel is in the perfect location: the warehouse district is full of great places to eat & drink, and it's an easy walk to downtown and the garden district! The hotel was nice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for our long weekend. Overall service was adequate, with several interactions well below average: 1. We waited for nearly 25 minutes to check-in while the front desk person dealt with an issue with another guest. It was 2pm on a Thursday afternoon, and there was only one person working at the desk. 2. We waited in the bar after dinner Thursday evening at 9pm for 40 minutes while the single bartender tried to manage 4 other small parties (2-4 guests each, and 2 of which ordered food in addition to drinks). The bartender was kind, but very slow and unable to keep up with the very small crowd. When he finally got to us, we ordered 2 cocktails from their signature drink menu that he informed us they didn't have the ingredients for. We waited another 15 minutes for him to come back to get an updated drink order from us. 3. I called down to the front desk on Sunday and requested 2 espressos. They called back 5 minutes later to tell us they didn't have espresso that day, only coffee. Overall, during our stay, we didn't need that much. . . we did ask for extra water bottles twice which they happily accommodated. And our room was kept tidy. But the other interactions we had left me questioning the glowing reviews for this hotel. Aside from the location, I'm not seeing that it's anything special in a city full of amazing hotels with over-the-top service. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Could Not Be Happier

Mar 9th, 2020

This was our first visit to NOLA and we were here primarily for the WWII Museum, which was a short 10-minute walk away. We arrived at a shift change. Sharon, who was leaving, stayed long enough to make sure we were settled. When we declined the hotel's valet parking, she was helpful directing us to a nearby lot. We appreciated the security, including needing a key card to operate the elevator. The staff put us in a room overlooking Tchoupitoulas Street. The room was a good size, clean.and quiet. Everything was at or above expectation. Amazed to find this kind of quality at a budget price. Once again, Tripadvisor steered us in the right direction. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
