Compliments to the Management and Staff

Mar 16th, 2020

My husband and I were to arrive this past weekend, Saturday March 14th, to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We celebrated our honeymoon at Cambridge Beaches last March in one of the private pool cottages and truly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for our anniversary. Due to the unfortunate and unprecedented current circumstances we postponed our trip. However, I could not let the support, professionalism and kindness demonstrated by the management and reservations staff go unmentioned. Prior to our arrival there was constant communication, whereas primarily Richard and Rachel were beyond helpful and put our minds at ease. From helping with questions about our room, to dinner reservations and recommendations then assuring us not to worry should our plans needed to change, we felt the genuine spirit of what Bermuda and Cambridge Beaches represents. Thank you and we look forward to returning to your beautiful resort in the fall. Stay safe everyone. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The best home away from home - Bermuda is Absolutely beautiful .

Mar 12th, 2020

Cambridge Beaches, I cannot fault this place, I adore it so much and will be back. I got married here in 2019 and Nadia and Florenta and all of the team here, like everyone who works here are absolutely awesome human beings. They made me and my family feel so welcome, my wedding day was fantastic and they accommodated all our needs - it was laid back, the facilities were awesome and everything here have provided me and my family with the happiest memories of a lifetime. I thank you all so much and cannot wait to be back TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Off Season is VERY different

Feb 23rd, 2020

We stayed here last July and fell in love with this resort and gave it a prior 5 star review. We couldn't wait to come back and decided to see what visiting in the off season was like. We love this resort because it is quiet and secluded and away from the throngs of people at Dockyard and the beaches. It's not a hip, party spot. Our room was stunning, though the mattress was more firm than we like. The views were breathtaking, the bathroom was near perfection, huge tub and shower with ocean views. A half covered patio that opened wide into the living room with more stunning views of long bay. The downside to being off season is there is no hotel shuttle to Dockyard, and that the staff is much smaller. Dinners and some breakfasts were served mostly in the Port'oCall Bar which was perpetually humid and uncomfortable (crack a window!) and Breezes is closed entirely, and Tamarisk was not serving dinner while we were there, a real disappointment. Menus are much more limited too. Also, we stayed for Valentines day. Were were not told that reservations were required, or if we wanted to make reservations, so there was no room for us for dinner! I guess that's our fault, but the staff could have been more proactive during check in seeing as we were guests, staying there ON Valentines day. We did manage to take the Valentines day Cruise, which was great... but no one had told us that it was $50/person. Again, my bad, but the staff should have informed us at the time wee reserved our spot. It would have been embarrassing had we not had enough cash on us. A lot of things are closed in Bermuda in the off season, so plan accordingly but if you enjoy quite time in paradise with your significant other, I can't think of a better place to be. Secluded place at the end of the island

Jan 24th, 2020

We have been to Bermuda number of times, but never stayed here. The location of this resort has curtain benefits, as well as it could be a drawback. If you want to stick around and not that interested in exploring around, this is the place, as it is almost at the end of the island, away from Hamilton and other sights. You would need some kind of transportation (ferry, bus, scooter) to get around. In the mean time, because it sits on the peninsula, it has access to the ocean and the bay-side. It has a few beaches, each to the different taste: small, long, secluded, the best equipped. It is all cottages, so the only place you would see other guests would be the dinning room at breakfast. Interior of the room we stayed was mostly up-to date with some minor issues. The sliding door to the balcony would not open, couple of bulbs were off and the fridge was turned off. The housekeeper would forget to replace things and once even leaved the join room's door open when we come back from the walk. On the positive side the breakfast was outstanding, with the variety of cold and hot dishes, fruits and vegetables. We should't also.forget to mention the outstanding service. Very pleasant stay. Wonderful birthday trip

Jan 18th, 2020

I stayed here to celebrate my 25th birthday with my fiancé. The resort is STUNNING and the staff is very warm. I loved the cottage experience. Bermuda is still the most breathtaking island I’ve been to. My one gripe is the nickel and dime element of it all—everything costs extra on top of already being very expensive. I think for the price they should give a little bit more. Food was good but not great for the most part. I paid for the private beach dinner and while the experience was divine and very memorable, the food was sort of shockingly average to poor, except for the dessert. I let the manager know but nobody ever got back to me. Taxi transportation to get around the island is very pricey, so just be aware of that if you’re planning to explore. We paid 40 dollars to get round trip to a golf course a few minuets away—by the way, the food at the golf course was the best we had all trip. Fiancé is a golf pro, and the nearby golf courses passed his exacting standards. Water sports were a TON of fun! Must do the jet ski. If I returned to Bermuda I would most likely stay here again, but I would not spring for a top tier room—save the money for everything else, you’ll need it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
