Nice and comfy

Jul 14th, 2019

We had a great stay with our family. The 2bd suite is very spacious and comfortable. The location is close to many restaurants and shopping. The pool is clean and very relaxing. Only down fall is the beach access is there, but waves are too dangerous to go in the ocean. Depends what you are looking for this hotel is definitely relaxing by the pool. Not all inclusive. But you can bring your own snacks and drinks. My family had a great stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Having stayed at the Camino Real in Mexico City, I thught we would get the same quality and architecture as in the capital. What a disappointment. We reserved on line while travelling to Manzanillo and that worked fine. We were given a room facing the land (and not the sea) and we found the installation quite basic, the bathroom in need of some serious touching up, nothing commensurate with the ***** star it was advertized with. We had a look at the restaurant and the menue and decided to go elsewhere. Breakfast is served outside with a vire of the ocean which is great but the buffet is open and the bird feed on it. It is hard to find a clean chair and we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. Not in line with the Camino Real image TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

we didn´t stayed on this hotel since part of the people that I was travelling already stayed there and they said that it was their worst experience and worst if you take in account the pricy rooms. I went to the restaurant to have lunch, although the people meant well their service is really slow and poor! It took us like 3 hours to have lunch and the food was not good at all, it was really expensive taking into account the awfulness and poor quality of the food. They gave us nachos before our food arrived and they were old, werte not crunchy at all. bad experience won´t like anyone else to experience this, and we could tell the hotel was old and was really empty (not surprised) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Never Again

Apr 30th, 2018

Thank God we only booked one night at this hotel. When we asked to upgrade to a room with the ocean view we were told the hotel was full but they could accommodate us for an extra $200 per night. No Thanks and we were hard pressed to see even 10 other guests!!! Rooms are old, beds are extremely firm, the AC sounded like an old diesel engine, bathrooms extremely tiny (room for only one person at a time). We tried their buffet breakfast but we would have been better off at McDonald's. All in all it was a terrible experience and will never be returning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
