An AMAZING experience

Jul 22nd, 2019

From the delicious food, overtly clean rooms, positive staff, and beautiful meeting rooms with a view, Canopy by Hilton does NOT disappoint! My party and I could not get over the professionalism and overall positive atmosphere that this hotel provided throughout our stay. A++ TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful

Jul 22nd, 2019

The hotel is at the end of the Wharf. The bed was so comfy & the drink tasting from 6-7pm was a great surprise. Did not eat at the restaurant BUT the roof-top bar was amazing!! Great drinks ($11-14) and wings!! My girlfriend was so happy with the whole trip. My room was on the corner so we had some water views but for 1 night, who cares!! Parking is a little expensive at $55 but the overall Whatf experience is fun and romantic. You can jump on a water taxi to Georgetown (so lively) or over to the National Harbor TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

One week stay

Jul 21st, 2019

My first stay at a Canopy property by Hilton. Location is excellent, right on the corner of the new very stylish and happening DC development called the Warf, by the Potomac. Over the week, what settles it is that it is a pretty modern hotel, great location, rooms are big and well appointed. If one gets a room with a view, from your bed look out at the river front, the island of green, before your eyes settle in on the airplanes flying in and out of Reagan National. The view in the picture is pretty much the same view i had from my window. The staff was accommodating and upon request, they gave me a room with a better view. Mighty nice and polite of them to do so. Check in desks are on the 2nd floor (we call them first floor here), and check in desks are located at what looks like two computer tables on a shop front (yes, it confused me to see a few shelves full of what looked like coffee and souvenir paraphernalia for sale). But then someone waved a hand to me call to the desk. BTW, prepare to fill your water bottle and ice from a machine in the middle of the corridor (one doesn't get the usual 2 bottles in the room here), which i can only suppose and hope is to avoid using plastic bottles. There is only one restaurant with a limited fare, but again i think that with so many eating options all around the hotel, Canopy itself didn't need to have it's own multiple eating joints. Beyond all this of course, it was all a smooth and pleasant stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing location, hotel and service

Jul 20th, 2019

This hotel is hot! Amazing location, hotel and service. As a Honors member, they sent texts to check in with anything you need throughout your stay. Both the hip lobby bar, restaurants and the rooftop bar for gathering is on point. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good location on the DC Wharf with things to do for kids

Jul 20th, 2019

The hotel was a great location if traveling with kids due to the activities on the Wharf and water. Our room was very quiet being on an upper floor even though there is a hub of activity along the promenade below, especially on Friday and Saturday. A note, many of the the hotel staff English is not their first language and sometimes there was miscommunication especially with the housekeeping staff. There is a free city shuttle bus from the corner up to the Mall or one may hail a taxi right out in front of the hotel entrance. The hotel is about 1 year old. The elevators have a little getting use to due to their security features. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time in DC. A wonderful city to explore. We want to visit again.
