Critic Reviews

A great choice if you want to stay on the Hill and need some extra room to spread out: all Federalist-chic style units are suites, with kitchenettes, large work desks, flat-screen TVs, and spacious closets.

This hotel has the distinction of being the only one in the city actually on the Hill (on the House side of the Capitol), an unbeatable location. The property occupies two buildings on a residential street lined with old town houses.

All units have a flat-panel TV, robes and upgraded bedding; a few have cooking facilities. A mini food market is available in the lobby.

Lonely Planet

Fresh off a whopping renovation, the hotel touts its new look as 'Federalist chic.' Dark walnut furnishings and white cushiony beds dot the spacious, clean-lined chambers. Smaller rooms have kitchenettes, while larger rooms have a full kitchen.
