We were only booked here for two nights thank goodness. It starts with the check-in. The lady at the front desk was very nice, but we were blindsided with an additional $100 per night charge for housekeeping. So right off the bat we were spending $200 more than we planned. The unit itself was clean and well appointed, but that is as far as it went. The location of our unit was practically in the parking lot. There is NO air conditioning and the units are hot at night. You have to leave the windows open and fan on. At about midnight, very noisy sprinklers turn on and the water pressure is so strong water sprays into the bedroom window. The bed was horrible with a big dip in the middle. Roosters are roaming all over and start crowing outside the bedroom window at about 5:30 a.m. A good night’s sleep in this place is impossible. The units are not private. The bathroom with the shower has no fan and the window which is in the shower faces the parking lot. Anyone walking into the complex can see you showering. Like to cook your own breakfast in the morning? Well, forget that. The stovetop had 2 settings, raw and burnt. And the cookware was poor quality, which made any attempt at cooking even more difficult. Another concern was the staff’s obvious concern about security, so much so that it made us wonder what had actually occurred here before. Kauai is a beautiful island. There are plenty of nice places to stay, so DON’T stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
You sure can't beat the quiet OR the view!

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom for two nights and were very pleased with this resort. We didn't take much advantage of the amenities-- we were with friends and off doing things, but the place itself was clean with a good sized lanai overlooking the water (we were on the 3rd floor). We had space to spread out and relax. Great spot to see the sites-- not too close to the noisy resorts-- and we just. relaxed. Lovely. You are surrounded by a local park, and I recommend taking the walk along the water early in the morning. You can enjoy the chickens, the waves, the wind, and seeing some ancient ruins nearby too. There is a fun children's area an easy walk away too with a "bridge" that I had a ball crossing as it is kind of like a maze. We wanted a nice place without having to pay huge resort fees. This fit the bill. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had a 3 bedroom 2 bath with 8 people and there was plenty of room. Nice place and great staff. Only wish there was AC. Never got the chance to visit the pool, but the grounds we did see were pretty. View from room was great too TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was a fantastic option to stay on a family vacation. 2 families of 4 over New Year's. We had 2 units. Lovely staff. Beautiful location. Well appointed units. We had 1 ocean front and 1 ocean view unit. Lovely pool. Clean property. Kitchens had great supplies for making family suppers. Towels can be exchanged each day and new paper products/cleaning supplies available if needed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Terrific option for a Kauai stay

Staff were friendly and nice. Rooms were only moderately supplied (we had to seek out the office for additional TP and kleenex during our one-week stay), but staff are responsive and pleasant. Accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed. Location is fantastic, near to everything in Wailua/Kapaa but nestled in a state park so a very rural and relaxed beachfront setting. There is a swimming beach a short walk up the path, and we would absolutely stay there again. Noted: no ADA accommodations - our third story unit was accessed solely via an external stairwell. Mobility-impaired or those with knee/joint concerns will need to find a first-floor unit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
