Disney on ice

Stayed here before on business trips to CWV. Not exactly best Marriott I’ve stayed at but had the best front counter especially Andrew who was professional, courteous and always helpful. Walls little thin so enjoyed two toddlers next door who were upset but I countered it by recording the stupid Facebook kazoo commercial and placing it on a loop while sleeping with headphones of the ocean. Just kidding....about the Kazoo TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not what I expect from a Marriott Property

Mar 2nd, 2020

Sorry folks, this place is run down. Our King room with a balcony was no bigger than a Microtel room for a heck of a lot more money. We did find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Tim at the bar is excellent. By the way, don’t waste your money on a room with a balcony. You can’t go out on it. Note that the sliding glass door to the balcony only opens 4 inches for ventilation only... the Brick Salt restaurant located inside this property has good food and good service. The building needs to be updated. Not worth the money in my opinion. The location isn’t what it used to be. The mall is dead and the homeless/druggies wonder about making it uncomfortable to walk around even during daylight. The bus station is a block away. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just a place to crash

Feb 22nd, 2020

The friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the room were well above average. My only complaint about the room was that I could not turn the temp below 65 degrees, but I am a "the colder the better" kind of person. The food from the restaurant was pretty good, but very overpriced. $35 for 2 breakfast buffets was a bit steep. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not the best Marriott I've stayed at.

Dec 26th, 2019

This is a clean and safe hotel to stay at but it is at the lower end of what I expect from a Marriott. They claim to have room service but it is just glorified carryout. They claim to have a lounge but it is just a bar in the lobby. The food in the dinning room is passable but nothing to write home about. The only reason we stay here is because the training we came to town for was in house. There are nicer hotels nearby if all you need is a room near the mall or the civic center. And they have the audacity to charge you $15.00 a day to park, as a paying guest!!! It's a shame really because this used to be the premier place to stay when you came to town. The only shining light at this location is the professional attitude of the front desk and housekeeping staff. They were extremely accommodating. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

During the week stay

Dec 23rd, 2019

I was only there for one night. It is within walking distance to several bars and restaurants. The room was clean, the staff was very nice and professional. I believe this location is getting remodeled soon. Their decor was a bit out of style but I dont care as long as it is clean and this was clean. Be sure to get your parking pass taken care of prior to checkout. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
