You get what you pay for hotel

Hotel was only okay, location is good but the rooms really need updating. Cracked sinks, peeling wallpaper, moldy doors....and plumbing problems. I won't be returning. This is a "get what you pay for hotel." Rooms by the street are very noisy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location! Definitely a "New Olreans" atmosphere!

Unique place - Great Location! We must have picked a busy weekend, a little pricey for 1 night at over $300 by the time tax and parking was added. Friendly staff. Overall everything was pretty clean. Keep in mind, it is a very old building. A historical type place. Not the Hilton. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Chateau hotel

great place for the money. Stayed right in quarter for less than $100 including tax. But my window was right on the street. So street sweeper in the morning was a wake up call. The pool area was extremely nice. It is no smoking through out the entire property, including the pool and common areas TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location, but...

This is an quaint, old hotel in a fantastic location if you're wanting to visit the French Quarter. It's nestled between Bourbon Street and close to Frenchman Street near many bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, it's really poor upkeep. The rooms are dirty. Some actually had mold and some sort of black dust all over in them. Service wasn't friendly or very accommodating. If you have another choice, I'd take it. I wouldn't stay here again unless absolutely necessary. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

CFB National Championship Weekend

Everything was clean and everyone was very nice. The hotel is just dated compared to a lot of the larger chains, but we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It's all part of what you would expect of an older French Quarter building. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
