at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel

We just spent two nights here while attending a conference at the Edmonton Convention Centre. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the ECC so we booked there. We parked in the hotel parkade, 25$ a day. The check in was quick and very friendly. The room was small, queen bed but clean, quiet and had a fantastic view of the river valley. We ate at the lobby lounge and were pleased with the food and the atmosphere. The hotel is right in the core of downtown within walking distance of many restaurants, Roger’s Place and the LRT. We would stay stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A wonderful hotel to stay at!

I stayed in on the upper floor with a king size bed on the Concierge Floor. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room, the bathroom was very nice. My room was extremely clean. The breakfast in the Concierge Lounge was very nice & the food was delicious! I always go the the Bellamy Lounge to order food & the staff are also so kind, so friendly & so pleasant to deal with. My order is always ready in not time at all. The room was reasonably priced as well. The Front Desk Manager was very kind, & polite. The Front Desk Clerk was so friendly to deal with as well. Downtown hotel with lots of outdoor paid parking. Revolving restaurant that overlooks the city and river valley (didn't visit personally). My room was definitely dated and pretty basic. Needs an overhaul. Bed was comfortable and room was nice and quiet. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Oh my goodness!

Wow. I have never had such a good experience at a hotel. First of all, the warm welcome by Erin the front desk agent, was phenomenal. She got us in early, was funny, and great at her job. Taho, the front desk supervisor, was warm, welcoming, remembered bits about you to chat with you later about your experience in Edmonton, and extremely accommodating. Connie (I believe her name was, Taho, if you see this I believe you’ll know who I’m speaking about) who checked us out, was so kind and warm. The huge star of all of this besides this being the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, was Gari, from the restaurant! This young man accommodated us and treated us like gold, and provided us with amazing customer service. We saw him again this morning at breakfast and him and Israel were so incredibly kind. We are so happy and will recommend this place to anyone. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Bellamy's lounge mediocre food
Jan 7th, 2020
Bellamy's lounge is a popular gathering place on the ground floor of the Chateau Lacombe. It tends to be crowded and noisy, and the service is efficient but impersonal. On a recent visit my party of four found the food variable and overpriced considering the quality. From my perspective, Bellamy's failed on the basics: if you have fish and chips on the lounge menu of a hotel with a solid reputation for quality, you don't expect the fish to consist of overcooked mush contained in a decidedly mediocre coating. As for the fries, they were below even fast-food quality. On the other hand, one of my companions was more than satisfied with the shrimp dish. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
