Beautiful hotel, front desk staff very attentive

Not sure why other folks have had such a bad experience. We loved our stay here. The room was clean and looks like it was remodeled in the last few years. The front desk staff was very attentive. The valet guys were great as well and very helpful with directions to things like gas stations. The service was great. Some of the King Premium rooms come with a whirlpool tub, so be sure to ask for the Whirlpool tub if you are going with a King Premium room. They also had a separate shower that had multiple shower heads, which had lots of great water pressure. TV was a modern Samsung LED TV with about 49 Direct TV channels, including 2x HBO and 1 x Cinemax channels. The wifi was good. They also have a beautiful staircase near the elevators. :) The only downside was the hotel restaurant and bar were shut down because of COVID-19, but there are so many great eating options in downtown Cincinnati (or on the banks) this is not a problem. Rough hotel, run very poorly

We came to down, hoping this would be a nice stay at a Curio hotel. Things soured pretty quickly, as check in was extremely cumbersome, despite no one else being in the lobby. One of our rooms appeared to be very poorly cleaned. The other never received a cleaning seal, and we did not realize this until the next day. At night, the hotel was extremely loud, with a lot of partying guests, and tons of street noise. Now that we are home, I have a charge on my card for $100 more than me receipt indicates, and cannot get ahold of anyone at the hotel. We wont be staying here again, when visiting family in Cincy. I booked a trip to Cincinnati for a weekend getaway. Picked this hotel. It took forever to find the hotel itself (there’s more than one business for the 601 address, could be a technical error with my GPS). Parked in the garage next door and had to pay for that each time we left so I wasn’t a fan of that. Asked the front desk about it and he said it was fine and what most have done. Due to valet being unavailable. The bath tub stopper was broken in my room. And you could hear everything outside our window and to the room next door to us. Which I wasn’t a fan of. The bed itself was comfy and the staff was extremely friendly. Also across the street to the front there’s a place where drug users get high and are laid out so that wasn’t very pleasant to see each time leaving the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this for the price I paid either. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I was first very excited to come here. I booked through Trip.com for only one day in July 2020. My trip from Hong Kong to Cincinnati got cancelled through the airlines and I was forced to cancel my hotel stay. The hotel refused to give me a refund especially with Covid-19 going on. You would think that a hotel could easily give a refund for this I convince. I sent proof that my flight was cancelled and gave them all the information they asked for a still no response. This place is shady and does not have good service. If you want bad customer service and a bad experience, book here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location but the rundown hotel across the street the police should run vagraints off. Late makes for uncomfortable vibe. This is not the hotels failt of course. The entry way is awesome and modern. Room was clean, spacious, modetn and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again as price was good. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
