Modern rooms, high resort fee

Oct 11th, 2019

We stayed here 1 night after flying into Reno on our way to South Tahoe. Overall thw hotel room was modern, updated, and clean. It included coffee, free parking, and wi fi (well you have to pay a ridiculous 30 some dollar resort fee to cover these anyways). This isnt Las Vegas, there is no pool, and it seems vastly unwarranted. The casino was quiet and a little old school, run down. We did enjoy the free midway shows, and spent more time playing carnival games on the 2nd floor, which was the highlight of the stay. Good hotel, drop the resort fee to be a 5* TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best on the strip!

Oct 11th, 2019

Downtown Reno seems to be dying. It was so sad to see. Circus Circus seemed to be the best on the strip. We walked up and down the street and there was nothing better that we could see. Our room was updated and clean, but we were not given the King Bed that we had reserved and there was someone elses food left in our fridge. They were not able to give us a king room when I called the front desk. When I took the food that was left in our fridge, they did apologize and magically found a cancellation. We had already unpacked. So we declined. The cicus atmosphere was fun and there were lots of food choices nearby. My eyes stung from the smoke. Oh and there was free parking which was great! The staff was friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cheap and cheerful

Oct 11th, 2019

The room was huge, bed was very uncomfortable like sleeping on wood. It wasn’t exactly clean either as I found a button,h n m Ticket, the coffee cups were dirty and they were disposables, I even found dried noodles down by the corner of the bed where the lamp was. It was a cheap and cheerful room I guess even though we upgraded to the king one bed suite I dread to think what the cheap cheap rooms are like. And one night coming back to our room someone had spat all over the elevator floor. My son loved the arcade games. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The longer I stayed, the dirtier I felt

Oct 3rd, 2019

Our room was mediocre. The shower didn’t drain properly, so I took the quickest showers I could to minimize the chances of standing in stranger’s filth. They did not provide a shower mat so I used a hand towel to stand on as I dried off. The room only had one window, which had a foggy film on it that was torn in the corner, and the red and blue lights flashing, plus the light from the hallway that came in through the doorway, made it hard to fall back asleep when I woke up early in the morning when the upstairs neighbor was showering at 5am. Lastly, the bed didn’t have a bottom sheet. They used a flat sheet, which kept creeping down, exposing the bare mattress. Barf. I’ve definitely stayed at worse hotels, but I won’t be coming back to this one. For $100/night I expect a cleaner room with better furnishings and a shower that drains. The staff was super friendly, which is the only thing I can really say I liked. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

WOW!

Sep 24th, 2019

Stayed here for one night, all staff members we spoke to were lovely, from the chambermaid, security, bar man, receptionist etc, etc What an amazing Hotel/Casino you have :) room was a great size, in the North Tower, King Room it was spotlessly clean on the 15th floor so had a fab view too! This was a birthday treat from my sister so don’t know actual costings but believe it was value for money too, just beware of resort fees on top of room prices quoted. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
