Wonderful experience!

Paloma Piña was extremely helpful and wonderful in helping me check in and answering my questions. She made sure that I was enjoying my stay. 10/10 will be coming back cause of the wonderful experience I had! The rooftop bar was absolutely amazing and had such wonderful views! An Enjoyable Stay

Aug 7th, 2019

We had stayed at this hotel previously when it was the Indigo, not a positive experience. This stay was completely different. Though the rooms are not big they are comfortable and quiet. And the service was exceptional. We had many good interactions with the staff but I must recognize Shaneice in particular who went "above and beyond" to be sure we had everything we needed. The hotel should recognize her for the outstanding customer service. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice place, shame about the BS extra charges on our credit card

Jul 15th, 2019

We enjoyed our stay at the Claridge House, so it was a shame to get a sting in the tail when we got home. The staff was friendly, the room was nice, the location is great. We got a good rate via a travel website. But we were puzzled to see a charge of about $45 for a 2-night stay on our credit card some time later. When we called to query it, we were told it's a "resort fee," for services like the business center (i.e. a single desktop in the basement), the coffee maker, the gym, et al. In other words, all things that come standard in just about any hotel you've ever stayed in. So buyer beware: either factor that fee in or find a hotel that doesn't stick you with extra fees for things you thought you'd already paid for. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good place to stay when visiting the city

Jul 15th, 2019

The room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. I like the blackout shades to keep the room dark when sleeping but when we opened them in the morning the view was just another rooftop nearby. That was okay because we only needed the room for sleeping. We were on the back side of the hotel on 6th floor. I’d recommend asking for a room away from the elevator to avoid the noise. The bartenders downstairs were friendly and knowledgeable about good places to eat and visit. The service was very good. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location for Old Town Visit

Jul 7th, 2019

Small hotel. Older but updated. Clean. Pricey. Unexpected "urban fee" of $20 for wifi, 2 bottles of water and use of a tablet. They indicated that it was clear, but we made our reservations through a third party provider and it was not clear to us. People at desk were friendly. We used ParkWhiz to find a $23 overnight lot on Clark about a block away rather than using the $50 valet park next door. View from room was of an apartment about 20 feet away. Room was clean, bathroom small. Bed was comfy. Quiet. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
