Affordable place with easy access to downtown Richmond

Feb 18th, 2020

Interesting place to stay on a buck. It seems like they combined a few buildings into one. Location is functional for a stay and has ease of access to downtown area. Keys had issues working during stay and had to have front desk correct multiple times. Area around seems to be up and coming with revitalization. Pretty standard offering in rooms as far as a bed and a chair with desk. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disgusting

Nov 7th, 2019

Horrible and dirty. Poor check in experience, keys constantly not working. This property shouldn’t even be open. It needs to be completely overhauled. It’s in horrible disrepair. The supposed workout room has no working equipment. I got on four different pieces none of which worked. I wish I could give 0 stars. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Richmond Trip

Nov 3rd, 2019

Attended a wedding in Richmond first week in November. Somehow got confused about where everyone else was staying and I accidentally stayed here. Admittedly, the hotel is being renovated. This is an understatement. Carts and supplies all over the place, rolls of new carpet in common areas. Just poor construction control. Room I stayed in was dirty. For example, I found trash from previous guests in the dresser drawers and nightstand drawers. There was "stuff" on the wall that may have been dried toothpaste? I don't know. I cleaned the bathroom before I used anything. The room looks dated and dirty. No bar or restaurant in the hotel. Several vending machines, though. Not much you can do about the location, but its right off I64. Easy off and on, yes. But lots of road noise. And the location is a little sketchy. Like don't go out at night unless you're in a car sketchy. Finally, regardless of what is said, you're an easy 10-12 minutes from downtown from this location. Best to Uber or Lyft. Disgusting, filthy, would avoid

Oct 31st, 2019

We went here for 1 one night stay on our way home from vacation. When we got to our room we found that there was mold growing in the fridge, the microwave was missing a plate, there were shelves just laying on the floor. The room had a musty smell to it and was dusty. We checked out the same night and the front desk said that we would not be charged but yet the hotel refuses to refund us. I would avoid this place at all possible TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Unsafe, creepy, filthy hotel

Oct 18th, 2019

Upon checking in the man at the front desk joked that a dead body was found in one of the rooms. Trust me, this is not the sort of establishment that you want to hear that! It's creepy, filthy dirty, and there are "strange transactions" going on in the parking lot late at night. It also appears that there are people living in the motel. I had someone unlock and open the door to my room at night. Thank god the door was latched and I had moved a table in front of the door. The phone in the room did not work when I tried to alert the front desk. The man that I spoke with at the desk handled things very unprofessionally and was hostile. He also accused me of lying about someone trying to enter my room. I ended up leaving in the middle of the night because I felt unsafe. They denied my refund request. DO NOT STAY HERE. This place should be shut down. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
