We do not have deals for this hotel.

We stayed at this location for 3 nights. My room was facing the garden. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. That is my main thing when staying at hotels. I did see some gaps in the door, but not enough to be concerned about. I didn't have time to use the pool as we were mostly at the park and it was overcast anyways. Housekeeping brought us towels after we missed the morning rounds. Jessica is the person who checked me in and she was fabulous! Universal had a last minute call off so nobody showed up to take shuttle reservations. She called a hotel nearby and asked if they would put us on their list to make sure we would have a seat reserved. We used the shuttle everyday to Universal. They have 3 pick up times in the morning and 2 pick up times in the evening. Only drawback to the shuttle is times stay the same even if park is open later. Free parking, could walk to the parks if needed, and budget friendly. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Run down motel with not a lot to offer.
Sep 14th, 2020
None of the pictures that I saw when booking this made it clear that it was a two story motel. Our room was on ground level, door faced the parking lot. On the first morning there, I noticed a lot of daylight around the door. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that I could see a car in the parking lot through the gap. On the outside, you can see where the door had been pried open. There were stains on the walls, dirt and whatever else around the corners of the floor. The toilet would run until you jiggled the handle. The cold water on the sink didn't work. The smell of cigarette smoke poured through the gap in the door. We did have a fridge in our room, but no microwave. Besides what was wrong with our room- The store was only open part of the time. The pool area was a bit run down with weeds growing between the pavers. There was a gym, but not all the equipment was working. There weren't any stores conveniently located Other than the Indian restaurant in the motel, there was only a TGI Fridays that was within walking distance. There was another possible bar/restaurant that wasn't open at all while we were there, and a little breakfast/coffee shop with a broken espresso machine. The closest place to get espresso is about 1/2 mile. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Does the job but don’t expect extras

For a budget motel that is inexpensive this checks all the boxes. However don’t take all the reviews to heart. There is NO BREAKFAST included. This is not because of covid but ALL the time. They have a cafe for items to purchase. They do have a good pool. Hot tub was down due to covid, I had called before booking to make sure it was open and was told only the bar was closed to was bummed. Parking was free and always had some but if hotel was at capacity I could see how that could b a problem. WiFi was very touchy. Would only work for minutes at a time and we had a room close to the main building. Overall rooms were updated but done cheaply. Felt clean overall tho. The pool was nice- tho not sure how well that area gets cleaned. There was a weave of someone’s hair that stayed on a chair the whole 9 days we were there 🤢. Location is great- right across the highway from universal. I wouldn’t recommend walking but saw some do it. It’s quite a walk and the last thing u want to do is add 20 to 30 min of more walking after a full day at the park. It’s about half hour from Disney so next time we would stay more central. Not a good stay

As a choice provileges member I used my points to stay at this hotel for a trip to Universal. We stayed 4 nights and I was weary of the reviews but still decided to stay because it was so close to Universal. Overall, the room itself was fine and the check-in process was good. In the reviews I had seen to request a pool room so you couldn't hear the highway noise, but my poolside room didn't seem much better. It's a shame that the biggest issue with my stay was the environment of the hotel itself. There seemed to be a lot of unsavory characters staying at the hotel. Every time we left the room there was a strong smell of marijuana. Then we would come back from our day at Universal and still the same smell. Towards the end of our stay I started noticing the smell creep into our room, from I guess how much smoking was going on outside. Multiple parties would stay out in the pool late and the garden area drinking and playing loud music. The first night we waited to see if the people would eventually leave but it was 2am and they were still partying. It was very loud and we could not sleep so we decided to call the front desk. I assume they did send someone because eventually the noise was gone. My husband and I would see people walking around the hotel constantly as if they lived there. It was very strange and seemed as though the guests weren't on vacation but rather staying at the hotel as the destination. I hoped the next night would be better but it was much worse. At around 1 am there were people arguing off the top of their lungs, with profanity, and screaming. A guest actually opened her door and screamed at these rude people saying that she had children trying to sleep. This only made the people lash out at her and escalated the situation. They told her "Well why don't you call the front desk!?" and she replied that she already had and was going to call the police next. It quieted down for a while but eventually they came back and started arguing loudly once again, it was unclear whether they were drunk or high or maybe even both. Once things quieted down again we heard our neighbor speak to someone saying that the front desk had been called multiple times and nothing had been done to remove these guests who were clearly not allowing others to sleep. He said this had been occurring multiple nights already. The last two nights of our stay we didn't have any noise so I assume the police was called or the people were removed from the hotel. During these arguments I did not feel safe at all, which is the main reason I would not stay here again. It feels like the hotel attracts certain guests that like to be rude, loud, smoke, drink, and party outside in common areas. I would not stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Close to universal, no other reason

The reception makes you think it’s going to be nice but it really is just very basic, fine for 2 nights but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. The man on reception when we arrived for very abrupt and not particularly polite to us but was over nice to the two single American ladies that came in after us. The room spelt of cigarette smoke which I reported so we didn’t get the cleaning bill, they did offer to move us but it was too late in the evening and we were only there for 2 nights. The ice machine on our level was out of order, the internet was extremely fiddly to connect to and it kept disconnecting over and over, not good internet at all. The cafe for breakfast was grim and there was nothing appealing or healthy looking, coffee only then for us. The only redeeming feature was the Indian restaurant which was very good and the shuttle to and from universal. The rooms were in a concrete jungle and the outside stairs and walkways were like something off a cheap motel. Saying all this the room was clean as was the bedding and the shower so that was good. Definitely would not stay again for more than 1 night TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
