Nice, clean and A little bit far from the beach. The staff is friendly and professional. The place is clean and you even see staff cleaning the place on a regular basis. Good safety measures to prevent COVID-19 spreading (a lot of space in the restaurant, sanitizer, temperature monitoring). It's near the beach, there are several pools, several bars and even 4 restaurants that are all-inclusive. The drinks that are included are superior to other hotels, higher quality and lots more to choose from (even cocktails). The only down side so far is that possible moan mattress are uncomftable and pillows even worse other than that, it's amazing. But here comes the worst part my 3 year old got sick and there was a medical center so we took her there just to check her ear and throat after a 15 minutes consultation they give us a check on 360 Leva an equivalent of 180 euros almost its the most ridiculous and overpriced consultation we have ever been to its a complete rip off. Plus 100 more euros for the two medicaments. It's really sad because the hotel has potential but the way it is right now it's just like a sinking ship. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Poor food and drinks

The hotel itself is nice and new. The room was spacious and facilities are clean and well maintained. The animation team was really great. The main problem is the rather poor food quality in all the restaurants. The lunch menu is the worst I have ever seen - some of the meals simply not edible. The drinks are then a complete disaster - terrible wines and beer and cocktails without alcohol but with solid portion of artificial sweeteners and colors. Given the price we paid it was totally overpriced so my advice would be to avoid this place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our holiday began in July.17.2020. We arrived at 12:40 p.m. At 12:45 p.m. we have been already accomodated, together with a surprise compliment by the hotel. Our superior room has a magnificent view towards the Old Nessebar. There were lots of strong health measurements taken in connection with the spreading of Covid 19, but this didn't reflect upon our comfort and relaxation. All the rooms were very clean and well-kept as well as all the places nearby the swimming-pools and the beach. Food was exceptionally delicious, that's why we want to thank and congratulate the chef, all the cookers, the manager and all the staff of the restaurant. The personnel was highly concerned about our comfort and they were extremely kind and obliging. It was a great and really relaxing holiday for us and we want to thank to the whole hotel's personnel. We have already recommended the place to our friends. We are surely going to visit the RIU chain again. We sincerely thank you a lot! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great family hotel

Just returned from our one week holiday (July 2020) at Riu Helios Paradise and to be honest I was a little bit skeptical about the quality of the service and had almost no expectations. However the stuff at this hotel turned around my point of view about this place and Bulgarian hospitality at all. They are not only great professionals but also very kind and helpful people who give their best for every single guest to feel great during their vacation. - Reception: We were welcomed by smiling young man who accommodate us very quickly. We had reservation for two double rooms with garden view, but instead we were upgraded with two neighbor sea view rooms which was great surprise as a beginning. During our stay, the receptionists were always kind, helpful and answered every questions we had with a lot of professionalism. - Rooms: First impression - very large and spacious rooms with big balcony and beautiful pools/sea view. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day and no matter how we left it at the morning, we always found it shining. - Food: This was maybe the only one downside i felt in this hotel. Don’t miss understand me - the quality was good and the food is delicious, It was just a little repetitive and sometimes on the launch i felt there was not much to choose from. The desserts were also very few as a choice. I also didn’t liked that there was no food and the beach bar. However there was free ice cream on launch and dinner which I liked a lot. - Animation: Great animation team! Young, energized people who were always smiling and talking to everyone. Greetings to Ivan, Kiril and Nasko who give his best to entertain us during our stay. Great guys! - Beach/Pools: A wide beach with fine golden sand and not very deep sea makes it perfect for children. Many pools with lots to do there - jacuzzi, water slides, kids pool, activity pool, pool bar etc. In a summary - extremely clean hotel with perfectly maintained grounds and great beach and pools. Lots to do there. Perfect for families with children. But the most important of all - very good personnel. Everyone from the receptionists through the animation team to the cleaning lady was nice, smiling and friendly. They made our vacation enjoyable. What I liked about this hotel : beautiful resort, very nice pools, enough sun loungers at the pools, nice pool par and beach bar, good food, amazing breakfast, big rooms, sparkly clean, towels changed daily, better soundproofing than in most hotels, comfortable beds. We got upgraded from a double sea view room to a superior double sea view room. Almost all the staff was very nice, smiley and helpful. Nice beach and not very deep sea water. Quiet area. The only fault I can find this hotel is the fact that the beach area is too small for its size and it is difficult to find a free sun lounger after 10 in the morning. This is also partially due to the fact that the beach area is divided in two sections - guests only and paid area, the paid area being the same size as the guests only area. As I could tell from the advertisement placed at the beach, the hotel would usually allow guest coming from outside the hotel if they bought a daily card including food and drinks costing about 30 Leva. Probably due to the Coronavirus situation and the low demand, guest from outside the hotel were allowed after paying just 3,5 Leva (a little more than an euro) for a sun lounger. This led to a situation where a guest from the hotel could not find sun loungers as they were occupied by people outside the hotel, sometimes even in the guest only area. One morning I asked the staff at the beach for two sun loungers and an umbrella as it was 10 and a half in the morning and the beach was already full serving people from outside and he was very rude almost yelling at me that I should have came earlier if I wanted sun loungers. So, also related to the beach problem, the staff at the beach could be more polite and helpful. Would definitely come back if they solve the beach problem. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
