Families love staying at this all-inclusive resort, the only one of its kind in Florida. Situated 47 miles northwest of West Palm Beach in Port St. Lucie, this Club Med outpost offers an array of kid-friendly pursuits. The all-inclusive rates cover access to four swimming pools (one of which features water jets, play stations and waterslides) and activities like arts and crafts, sailing, tennis, treasure hunts, trapeze lessons and sports tournaments. Plus, nightly rates include meals at the riverfront Soleil Terrace and the buffet-style Marketplace, though previous diners said the on-site cuisine is hit or miss. For a more upscale dining experience, guests ages 10 and older can head to The Riverside restaurant for dinner. Keep in mind, extra charges apply and reservations are required. Once it's time to retire for the night, travelers can retreat to their spacious accommodations. Each of the resort's 307 rooms measures at least 506 square feet and features a furnished balcony or terrace, dual bathroom vanities, a minibar and a television. Free Wi-Fi access is available as well; however, a few past guests bemoaned the complimentary standard service, saying the connection is slow throughout the resort.
