Hotel not up to Marriott standards

Hotel is in very poor shape. Rooms are old, beds are bad, television is very small-and pictures of room on web site are offensively misleading. M club not serviced, atrocious and tired food. Hotel certainly not close to being up to Marriott standards. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are in the process of changing their affiliation or about to start a massive upgrade. You can do much better in the Columbus area than this tired hotel TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Location is ok. The Hotel is outdated. Beds were soft...Horrible. My computer screen is bigger than the TV in the room. Old carpet . the bathroom was recently remodeled. I called down for a cork screw, when room service brought it up he said I have to take the cork screw back downstairs after you open your wine.???????? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

1980s room

Room is heavily outdated and in need of an update. Not what you would expect out of a Level 3 Marriott . Bathroom floor was dirty upon arrival as well. Not what you would expect for the price. Better options are out there TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wrong Room Type, Dated Hotel

I had a change of plans on business, and I booked this hotel at 8 pm for a 9:30 pm checkin. When I booked my hotel, I booked the King room option. When I went to check in, I was given my room. I finally got to my room to discover that it had 2 beds. It was a long week on the road, so I really wanted my king bed. I went back to the front desk and asked why I was given a double room when I had booked a king room an hour and a half earlier. I was then told that there weren’t any king rooms. I questioned why I was able to book one just an hour and a half earlier. The lady at the front desk was not pleasant and acted put. Miraculously, she found me a king room, and I was accommodated. Back to the hotel, it is a dated hotel. The rooms all feel dark. The front desk is at the front of the hotel, but all of the rooms are at the back. You have to walk past all of the meeting rooms to get to where the hotel rooms are. The M Lounge looks good, but there must have been an issue because when I went in for breakfast, the back door was open and they had fans running. The breakfast in the M Lounge was lacking. It consisted of oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Overall, a very disappointing stay at a full service Marriott. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good value, full service

This Marriott is extremely convenient to airport (4 minutes by free shuttle that leaves promptly every 20 minutes on the hour - ours left a minute early so be sure to allow for this). Bed is super comfy and bathroom has been updated with modern fixtures and rain shower. After a few issues getting a room squared away, I was upgraded to 24-hour M Club access. This was a huge bonus! Tons of food - hot and cold, snacks and cold drinks (including yogurt, crudités, hummus, corn & bean salad, cheeses and crackers, and much more). The hotel has a nice fitness room with plenty of equipment as well as other business services including full conference facilities. Overall is a little dated but I’d recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
