Bed Bugs, had to check out

Mar 8th, 2020

On 3/5/20, Rm 210, While watching TV, propped on pillows with hands behind my head and lights on, I started to notice a very severe itch on my wrist. Sat up and looked behind me and there was a bed bug on the pillow. Since I'm so allergic to insect bites, I reacted immediately. So at 10:30 at night, I'm packing my things and checking out. The night clerk was very helpful, didn't charge me for the night and even put my pillow and pillowcase in the dryer on high heat for 15 minutes. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Watch Out !!

Feb 29th, 2020

As part of a relocation, we were traveling from Indiana to Delaware, with Waynesburg our overnight stop. This facility is easy to reach off of the Interstate. However, we arrived prior to sunset. After dark, while returning from dinner, we noted that the small sign by the road was not illuminated. Our stay exposed us to a walk from the front door, to elevators, off on third floor, and walk to room. During this route, when exiting elevator on third floor, we encountered bucket catching drips of water from ceiling. There was about eight inches of water in the 5-gallon bucket, with green color and vegetation as well. Catching water is one thing....might want to empty the bucket occasionally. The route we walked displayed four emergency EXIT signs not illuminated. I view this as an ignored safety issue, as it would be unlikely that four signs went out simultaneously just prior to our arrival. Although listed on website, there was no hair dryer in bathroom, Bathroom fan deafeningly loud, sounding like an unbalanced rotary lawnmower blade. Because of this, it was unusable. Our travel plans had us leaving prior to breakfast. Front of canopy needs painting, and suggests recent renaming of property. Surprised to see Canada flag flying as well as U.S. flag. We would avoid this property due to quality and safety concerns, as referenced above. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just need to sleep

Oct 9th, 2019

I was just passing thru the area on some family business and this Quality Inn had the only room available. Room was average but smelled of stale cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The AC unit CRANKED out the cold air though. I didn’t get breakfast but it looked pretty basic. I probably won’t stay here in the future but it worked for the one night i needed. Nasty Hotel

Sep 29th, 2019

Night clerk was more concerned with talking on her phone than addressing room issues. Coffee maker didn't work. A/C unit making horrible noises, the hall way carpet was soaken wet. I was told to come down stairs if I wanted coffee and they didnt have a repair man. Rooms are dingy. Beds horrible and doors coming into hotel on second floor was left open all night. This hotel isnt worth $20 a night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Okay Stay. Dirty Stairwells

Sep 1st, 2019

The stay was okay. Bed was comfortable. It serves the purpose of spending two nights for a West Virginia football game. Breakfast was well stocked. If you take the stairwells, be prepared for a mess. Filled with dirt and what looks like dried vomit in places. They certainly don't ever clean the stairwells. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
