Clean Facility, Thoughtful Staff

Checked in without a reservation and the young woman at the desk helped me find the best rate and my frequent stay number. The next morning I checked out to move along my trip and found they still offer something to eat. (Many hotels have stopped during COVID-19). It was skimpy, but better than an empty tummy. Well it turns out I didn't move along my trip and returned that night. The same young woman was working and remembered me. This time she found an even better rate and recalled my number. Rooms are real clean, no mildew in shower. Bedding is new and towels had a bleachy clean scent. Would definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly. My room seemed to be updated and clean. Due to the pandemic, a paper bag with breakfast snacks was provided. Room service never came to my room for my entire stay. The hotel is advertised as being a 10 min walk from the nearest metro station, but it’s actually about 18-20 minutes. Shuttle service was unavailable due to the pandemic so the walk in the hot sun was treacherous. The nearest restaurant is approximately a 15 minute walk. Several college campuses are also in walking distance. Reagan airport and Washington DC monuments are a 10-minute drive away or 35 minutes on the train. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Before moving into my new apartment I stayed for a single night. I think the dead cockroach in my room is all I have to say.... especially at a time when hotels are meant to be cleaning even more thoroughly due to Covid. It was underneath the bathroom sink. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My Husband and I stayed here just for 1 night as we were moving our daughter to Arlington. There were not many staying there as we are still in the midst of COVID-19. We checked in effortlessly and the receptionist was very nice. Went to our room, which was a bit stuffy, turned the air on and went to dinner. Came back about 2 hours later and the room was not cool. I called the front desk and the girl was extremely nice and she moved us to a different room very quickly. We had a King room and it was very spacious and clean. This is a great location if you are visiting DC to do sightseeing. The Metro(subway) is about 4 blocks away and a short walk. The area is safe and a nice neighborhood. The Orange and Silver lines on the Metro will take you right to the National Mall or the White House area. The area where the hotel is called Ballston and is an area of Arlington. It has many restaurants; most local but some chains as well, within walking distance of the hotel. I have stayed at other hotels in the immediate Ballston area and this Comfort Inn is the best value, cleanest, and has FREE off street parking. Other hotels are charging $15 or more per day to park. They are only offering a grab and go breakfast at this time due to COVID concerns. The bag did have a breakfast bar, a large muffin and a couple of other items. There is self serve coffee in the lobby. So yes, this will be my go to hotel now when we go there 3-4 time a year. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It’s a nice and safe place to stay. We enjoyed the room size. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast is good. The staff was nice and professional. Shuttle service is available by schedule. I do recommend this hotel. No pool. Not close to restaurants ( 1 mile walking) but the price does matter and it’s a good deal. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
