Definitely not 4 stars

Sep 23rd, 2020

I was expecting high end this was a Red Roof Inn in disguise! This has outside access. The rooms have the flimsiest bedspread. The bathroom, oh my I was not comfortable using. The rooms as you can see need updating. To be in the middle of downtown and using Vanderbilt In the name is misleading. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst ever

Sep 21st, 2020

Absolutely the worse. No break fast. VERY VRRY loud. You have to pay $15.00 a night to park. Rooms a re small out of date. And dirty. The ac works like. Champ. That's about it. We heard every door slam. Every car drive by. The door trim had alot of light coming in . Needs weather strip or something. Parking lot very small. Staff friendly .glad I only stayed 1 night. I won't stay there again ever I would not recommend it either TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointed in this Hotel

Aug 27th, 2020

The last 2 times we've stayed here we fought drain flies coming out of the drain. The AC this time ran and cooled but the room was so humid our clothes felt damp the next morning. They've also jumped on board with charging $15 a night to park. We had a 5:00 am appointment the next morning and people sung and partied near the pool until 10:30 pm. The whole experience was terrible. We've stayed here over the years primarily because it's close to Vanderbilt hospital for our early morning appointments. Even though some renovations have been done it's not near enough. Based on this last 2 day stay we will never stay here again unless it is our last available option. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disgusting & dirty

Aug 22nd, 2020

This place was so bad that I just gave up on my second night & left. The floor was really gross & the general outside spaces were dirty and in dire need of a renovation. It’s noisy and near the freeway. Yuck!!! The rooms open to the outside & lots of the other guests are out there smoking and making lots of noise until late. Just a terrible, dirty and tacky place. Run!

Aug 9th, 2020

This is a large hotel on the other side of the highway from downtown Nashville. Not a 3 star hotel. I know that we are in Covid-19 pandemic, but they are exploiting. The pool was closed (disappointing, but understandable). The room was terrible. We sprayed everything we Lysol twice. The beds looked like someone had slept on the sheets before, they were that wrinkled. The duvet was also torn. The bathroom smelled like URINE. We did not know why since I smelled the towels and the upper part of the shower curtain. The bottom of the shower curtain smelled like something that had been left in the washer, but no urine. They are supposed to have a great omelette and I not sure why it was closed to some degree since many restaurants in the area are open. So, they have a grab and go breakfast. Coffee, muffins, yogurt and bananas. That is it. A woman asked if they had milk - No. Why not provide those single serving cereal and little milk cartons?. Why not oranges. Since every room has a microwave, why not provide food that you can take back to your room>=? Brij was great on the phone, but not Jennie at the front desk. A gentleman left his license and I wanted to bring it out to him before he left, she told me to stay right there. I didn't do it, but I told her not to tell what to do ever again. By the time she got someone to go outside, the man was gone. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
