We had nothing but troubles since checking in. We were told our original room was infested with fleas after we waited 2 hours past the time we were told we could check in. The room we got was dirty specifically dirty socks in the bathroom soap residue all over the shower from prior guest. Kitchen was dirty coffee pot was broken, curtains looked like muddy dogs jumped on them and couch was covered in dog hair. Hotel staff was not accommodating, didn't take care of the fighting couple next too us who kept us up 2 nights in a row past 3am. This was brought to the attention of the manager and he didn't act concerned or even apologetic. We will never stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

When checking in, the man was not professional about our mix up with hotels. The room next to ours (#209) was loud and kept their dog barking until at least 1:30 am... Sounded like a family of about 4 or 5 ppl with a very large dog. We have no complaints about the dog, as we had ours, but to party & keep getting the dog barking was horrible. We will NOT be staying there again, as there are plenty of other hotels in Lincoln City. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Customer Service Fail in Lincoln City
Dec 6th, 2020
Today is my 40th birthday and I planned on celebrating with my family in Lincoln City. Unfortunately like most of this year, we have been met with some unforeseen outcomes and have had to become flexible. Yesterday I was up with a sick kiddo (fever and vomiting) so when I realized we would not be able to safely travel, I called the reservation line to cancel, I spoke with a kind gentleman and a woman named Lacy from the hotel and they explained the manager had special codes to cancel the type of reservation I had but they were sure, Shaun, the manager would be understanding. Lacy took my number down and assured me Shaun would contact me when he got in at 3. I never received that call, so I called back and was told that he was unwilling to cancel my reservation. Shaun explained that with the rate I booked -I would have had to know my kid was going to be sick 72 hours in advance (because we all know that’s how that works). I realize that under normal circumstances this would be true but her illness is out of my control and I would have much preferred to celebrate my 40th as planned. I have been a long time Choice Privileges member and will not be staying at any Choice brand hotels any longer. I would advise that anyone reading this use another brand as well for their lodging needs after my experience with Shaun. Businesses need to be flexible with their customers and have compassion and understanding during these times and if they don’t - there are always other Choices! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice big rooms, unfortunately we wanted a balcony room, but it was situated too close to the road/highway and was too noisy to keep door open or to sit outside to read. Rooms were well cared for and insulated well between units. Staff was friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
