Don't stay at this hotel

First of all, they are under renovations. We were not told that when we made the reservation & it was non-cancellable. Everything was filthy. Thank goodness I had brought a package of Lysol wipes. I won't disgust you by telling you about the tv remote. I do have to say the guy at the front desk was friendly & apologetic. But that remote - there's no excuse. Apparently the renovation is an on-going thing when they get the money to do it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I have stayed here twice. The first time the front desk worker was very nice, however he reeked of weed. When exiting the elevator I also saw weed on the floor. No big deal, but not the best place for kids. The last time I "stayed" here I did not. I checked in they kept my $180 and I left. Upon exiting I noticed many men standing around a truck drinking. It was around 10 at night. There were no lights in the parking lot nor in the drive up area where you check in. I was traveling with my wife and 1 year old. I did not feel safe getting them out of the car nor did I feel safe leaving my car in a dark parking lot with people "hanging out". I saw one very nice looking family. The rest of the guests looked very unsavory. I know I am judging a book by its cover however I did not feel comfortable staying. I expressed my concerns to the guy working the front desk. He told me he couldn't do anything and to call their company line. I was on the phone for an hour. They did not help. So If you'd liked to stay somewhere that looks very unsafe with staff that doesn't care about you concerns this is your place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
It's a Dog!

This hotel is old and dirty. Find another one. It is undergoing a "minor" renovation (bathrooms only). Of course, that was conveniently missing from their booking site. The smell of fresh paint VOC's nearly made us sick. Shame on Choice Hotels for allowing this hotel to ruin their reputation. Shame on Choice Hotels for even allowing this hotel to remain part of their chain. Choice Hotels used to be my go-to hotel chain until this experience. There is no pool, no bar, no breakfast . . . this hotel has no amenities at all. Without amenities Comfort Suites are just a Motel 6 without the light on! Photos show a dirty couch, dirty carpet, dirty elevator and dirty corridors. The hotel management should be ashamed that they don't require the contractors to clean the floors during the day and at the end of the day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Dirty Walls. Rude Front Desk Person. Blew a 2nd chance
Aug 9th, 2020
At a time hotels are hurting for business it is not a good idea to be disrespectful toward guest. Especially when your rooms are under par. My room showed signs of wear and tear. The walls or door trim had rust peeling wallpaper and dirt marks. My big issues was, I had no wifi and called the front desk for help if they can restart the router. Usually this corrects the problem. That person who is normally their shuttle driver was rude at checked in was more obnoxious and smarts off and says, no one else has called about it? This is the excuse many hotels use that they don't wan to deal with it. I told him I don't want any push back, if you have not had any calls maybe no one else is using the internet then? Can you please reset the router? He hung up on me. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
