I am by no means a hotel snob. I’m all about a good deal. My requirements aren’t to have a fancy hotel. Just clean. This one was pretty gross. They have a prime location but need to do some updating. Just some paint and new floors would do wonders. We loved being next door to nicks and across from the beach. Was nice to be able to bring our own drinks to the pool. Andrea was the star of the show. Best housekeeper. We had to be let into our room several times bc the batteries on the door contraption were bad. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I understand the circumstances of today are tough and scary but in the wake of the state reopening my sister and I decided to take a last minute trip down to Galveston with our kids just brighten up their spirits. Now we don’t expect hotels to be the way they where previously but even at that never had I had such a HORRIBLE, RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL front desk personnel like Regina! To tell you the least I had to basically pry her with questions to get information, if not she would’ve definitely not have spoken more than two words towards me. When I asked her if it was okay to leave my car in the parking lot before check in time she told me -with attitude- that she already went over it but in fact never said anything about parking. When we got to the room the bed sheets weren’t changed and it looked as if they didn’t clean it at all, DISGUSTING! And not only that but the tv didn’t work as well. When I expressed this to Regina just as I found it all out, she said that there was nothing she could do, I asked to speak to a manager and she LAUGHED IN MY FACE! She didn’t even offer a discount to my $200+ room! And even at that I’m shocked to have paid that amount for the way we where treated there! Never again will we look towards that hotel in which we where singled out by Reginas horrendous actions when we go down there. Check in 5/24/20 Check out 5/25/20 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Family vacation

Great time. The pool was open and we could walk across the street to the beach. The lifeguards were there and maybe six other people. The island had not issued travel restrictions yet. Everything at the hotel was good. We went for one night and stayed three until we were told hotel was closing. Maybe a blessing because we would still be there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

They treated us like criminals

Jan 14th, 2020

Their computer wasn't taking credit cards when we got there and they harassed us and threatened to call the police on us until we came down and paid with another form of payment. They treated us like we were trying not to pay when they were the ones having the computer problems. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Old and dirty

Jan 3rd, 2020

Can't say anything good about this place.carpet was very dirty,my white socks turned black, only one soap for washing your hand and shower and shampoo bottle was half full. There's no continent breakfast only muffins and coffee if circuit breaker isn't trip. Besides location there's nothing positive about this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
